Hello Michelle,
I have been recommended to ask you. I am looking for the 1841 census for William and Mary Horton (spelling may vary) who married in 1810 in Chatham Kent. so I am guessing births around 1790ish. Their son Charles was baptised in 1817 also in Chatham and did not marry until 1847 so may have been still with parents in 1841. Charles occupation has been shown on later entries as a greengrocer and fish monger. I don't know if there may have been any other children living with them. I would be most grateful of anything you might find.

Hello, Would you possibly be able to look up the 1891 census for Gertrude Annie Horton. She was born in 1878 in Bermondsey, Surrey and didn't marry until 1898. Her father was deceased by 1879 but her mother Ann Horton b. 1845 was still alive.
The mother Ann went on to re-marry a George Crick in November 1891, so may have been living with George and taken his name before they married!! Thank You so much for your help.

Re 1841 i can't see them....Its poss they died prior to the 1841?The best way to work further with this 1 is to get Charles's marriage cert.This will tell u his fathers occupation and will hopefully list whether he was alive or not and also show witness names...clues if we are lucky!

Only William showing around the correct age is this 1 but he has a wife Margaret?
