Just finished Virgin Earth which I enjoyed although I wasn't always sure how much was historical fact and how much was made up novel. |

Have just got hold of Valentine Grey, by Sandi Toksvig, and am hoping it will make for more interesting reading than the last 'Grey' book I read !! I have been waiting for it from the library for some time |

Am ready to abandon the Margaret Drabble book...ok for classic scholars I suppose, but it seems to be dragging on a bit. Ann, let me know what you think of The Paris Wife as it looks interesting. |

Valentine Grey seemed a bit disjointed in places, dodging between the war in Africa and life in London. Certainly opened my eyes to what went on in the Boer War. At times I could almost here Sandi Toksvig reading it to me, which I am not sure helped !! |
