I'm getting back into 'The Bounty' by Caroline Alexander (2003). I've been reading other books in the long interim so it was time to get stuck into this great story again. |

I've read The Stieg Larsson trilogy. I don't think I'd want to see the films. Mind you I prefer to read books rather than see the film. |

Just finished 'The Soul Collectors' by Chris Mooney. I nearly didn't finish it - one of those books that starts off well but has a stupid, rushed ending. Also the main character is very one-dimensional and impossibly clever/fit/beautiful/brave and vanquishes all in sight, despite little or no sleep or food! |

I've just finished reading An Education by Lynne Barber (she is Jennie in the film). I was surprised to find the film uses only the first couple of chapters of the book, a very small part of the whole story. |

Hi Ive just finished the Stieg Larsson trilogy, and they are very good, very graphic i agree, but the only way to read them is one after the other as the first book follows on and the second and third, and with those Swedish names its the only way to go ! |

Am now reading a book called "Devils Acre" by Michael Plampin (i think thats how it is spelt. It is about the establishment of a gun factory in London, by the famous American gun maker Samuel Colt. It is quite good, it has taken a fw chapters to get into it but is worth it now. Devils Acres was a notorious area iN London. Have decided to read something fluffy next time, has anyone any ideas on the latest chick lit ? |

I was given Jilly Cooper's Jump for Christmas and have just started reading it. I love horses but I'm not that impressed with this. Still I think you have to read a bit of tat now and then. Its a huge book, I will carry on with it, I don't like to admit defeat. |

Hi Muffyxx yes you are right RCB does appear. I used to like Jilly, but I think she's lost the plot recently. Don't let me put you off though. Enjoy. |

Start with *Riders* Patricia...it's where Rupert Campbell Black first appears and the story revolves around him and another show jumper. |
