I took my cards into the cancer research shop yesterday, woman looked bewildered when I gave them to her, eventhough the display was rigth next to her. |

Yes, the sun is shining here too. When I took in one card last week (there was an envelope in the Do craft magazine which I used), the woman in the shop looked confused. Today, for one moment she was going to charge me for the five I handed to her, then she was all enthusiasm and thanks when she realised I was not buying but giving. They seem to have a lot in the Glos shop, don't know if they are selling any. I think they are good value thought, not many places you can buy hand made cards for £1. |

I almost finished my LO yesterday and then it stalled. I have a space in need of embellishment but nothing I try there looks right. I'm trying to resist getting all the boxes out but it might come to that |

Linda, for distressed effects in distressed colours you might find 'Tim Holtz Distress Inks' made by Ranger interesting. Not only are the colour vintagey but they are designed to give you a slightly faded out worn look. |

Thanks for that Sarah, maybe only use tea on something that doesn't need to be kept for 'ever'. maybe it has acid in it, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the tips re the inks, will keep an eye out for them. |

Thanks for that Von. I guess we all get carried away some times and forget about using acid free stuff etc. |
