Scatty Report 6 Feb 2010 18:23

I looked in hobbycraft Ann and online at various other places - I actually brought the album from amazon and saw that some one had left a note of the place to get refils so phoned them 2 days ago and it arrived today so not bad going
its 10.5" x 9.5"

*snorts at Ann* cheeky monkey.... of course, I meant a crocodile sommat or other.... Scatty, if you do get one, will you let me know what it's for, please, lolol!!

Penny, I joined that site earlier today...... welcome, by the way!

In case you hadn't guessed, I have a glitter fetish.... and have become addicted to craft stuff... even if I don't quite know what it is for, lol

Ann, I am a bit the same with anything that is at an angle... it looks fabulous when anyone else does it, but I feel it always looks *contrived* when I do it, lol.....

~~~~~~ to Sarah
Jean... I think Ann might have a point.... I do seem to be addicted to glitter, lol.... maybe I was a magpie in a previous life... lolol
Love
Daff xxxx
Are you ladies talking about the crop-o-dile? If so it is a fab tool as long as you aren't endowed in certain directions and catch yourself in it, then it gives a nasty bite I'm told LOL I hold mine well away from me just in case.
Scatty
Scatty Report 7 Feb 2010 12:33
Hi Sarah
yes I think thats what we are talking about - I have read that they can be a fiddly to use until you get the hang of them
AnninGlos
AnninGlos Report 7 Feb 2010 12:40
I am sure that is what Daff meant Sarah yes, not seen it used though so can't comment on it. What does it actually do?
SarahSalopianScrapper
SarahSalopianScrapper Report 7 Feb 2010 12:49
It punches holes and sets eyelets with out the din of using a hammer. Will punch holes in card and paper but also in chipboard, thin metal, CDs etc really easily - think warm knife through butter.
They are a bit fiddly but I've found that setting eyelets is easier if once you've lined everything up you turn the crop-o-dile over so everything is upside down when you squeeze. It also looks like it will take a lot of force but it doesn't really, even my friend who suffers with arthritis found she could use it
spent hours today cutting out baby blocks of letters got some other bits ready for the page and decided they were the wrong shade - am just starting a new lot in hopefully the right shade - Rick couldnt tell much difference men huh what does he know lol
AnninGlos
AnninGlos Report 7 Feb 2010 15:55
Don't you know by now Jan that men have no colour sense Lol!!! (sorry Rick I am sure you are an exception to the rule!).
Annoying when that happens Jan but it wont be wasted you will be able to use them on another page.
Thanks sarah, strangely I don't use eyelets very much, in fact haven't used them for ages. Suppose I should really as I have some pretty coloured ones.
AnninGlos Report 7 Feb 2010 17:05
Sparkles work particularly well with little girls and pink so you wont waste them Jan.
Did you have a good time with Mags?
