I liked the Topaz bottle with the yellow stone on it, it is the birthstone for us Scorpio's!. I loved sea-jade, remember the sea-horse shaped bottle? You'd be surprised just how many of these bottles come up as collectors items on e-bay!.. |

Another thing I loved years ago was the Bunty comic - they used to have a cut out girl on the back that you could cut out clothes for and then dress her. Aah I was easily pleased then. Elfx ps very true Glenys!! |

Oh yes, Topaz! Crumbs, I'd forgotten that. Dare I say that I've got a tall, elegant container with Topaz in it - but I don't think it's that old; perhaps 1980's this time. The cap has broken and I can't use it, but it smells so lovely I haven't the heart to throw it away. From Glenys "Hoarder" Laird |

how I loved those chocolate chewing nuts too!, Mum always had 'sing something simple' on, and yes, it was hairwash night with a spoonful of vinegar in the rinsing water, supposed to make your hair shine!. We used to buy our 'little bottles' of orange off of the milkman, and the bakers van always had Mcvities majestic wafer bars!.. |

one thing I could never fathom out then and still can't now, was those funny wallets, with an elastic cross one side and two elastic strips the other, you did something with it, and opened it up and the money was tucked in the strips, was always magic!.. |

Don't know if you can still buy these, but I bought my Grandson an etch-a sketch in a charity shop this week cost £1.50. I had to have a go before him, he was lucky to get it back! Lynda |

Can anyone remember 'Touch Tapestry'? I did a picture of a house with snow on it and in the garden, it's in the loft somewhere. The memories! Kim |

Lubley Jubley's and clypso triangles which were smashing frozen, buying sweets by the quarter out of a jar...ie:-Lemon sherbert which you dipped your finger in and had that sour taste, and you ended up with a yellow tongue and finger. Five boys choc, when walnut whips had a walnut inside, pink bubble gum wrapped up like a toffee that had you blowing huge bubbles then bursting covering your face.Omo washing powder, crackling from the fish shop then it was wrapped in newspaper. .....just to name a few Lynn |

Another thing I miss are the original Victory V's. In the late seventies I had an ankle length leather trenchcoat and thought I looked amazing - looking back I resembled Herr Flick of the Gestapo. Sad! Elfx |

Christine that tartan cape sounded cool!! I remember when I was little having tartan "trews" and we used to wear trousers over our skirts - or was that just me? I miss my poncho though, definitely should've kept it but possibly wouldn't be able to get in it now as I was about six at the time. Could've used it as a hat I suppose :-) Elfx |
