Hi all I am Kim Price (Buddell), 47, married to Gerald for 23 yrs and have a 12 yr old son. Born Basildon (2nd name Tracey!) but parents split when I was 5 so lived most of my life in Barnet & New Southgate, North London, as my sister and I were 'allocated' a parent each! Left school asap, then few yrs later took myself off to Edmonton Coll and studied engineering, became a buyer of military aircraft components for years. Now live in Sandhurst Berks and work as a classroom assistant!

Hi all you Ancestor Hunters, I'm Bernie, I am 67 and a retired railwayman/publican/ signwriter. I was born in Kent where I lived with my first wife until 1972 when we moved to Derby. I worked on the railway there for over 5 years and hated every minute so in 1978 I packed it in and moved to Burton on Trent to run a pub. Enjoyed that very much for nearly ten years but then wife the first did a runner with a customer half her age, leaving me to raise our two children. (Apart from giving me my son and daughter, running away was the best thing she ever did). 18 months later I married Joyce, a divorcee with a daughter of her own. After two years we left the pub and started our own sign business which we ran successfully until I retired. We have been together for twenty years now and I wouldn't change a thing. We live in a nice little bungalow and our three children and seven grandchildren all live within a couple of miles. We divide our time between baby-sitting, travelling and genealogy. Not a bad life for a lad born in a two-up, two-down terraced cottage to working class parents in the 1930's.

Hi, I'm Kirsten. I KNOW I'm not the only one here that lives in USA. I'm in Utah, near Salt Lake City. Married to my second husband 7 years. We have 2 sons, 16 years old (from my first marriage) and a 6 year old son. We wanted 10 kids and we have them. They're just in 2 bodies! My mother is from London. Most of the ancestors I've found were from Devon, Kent, Northumberland, Stoke Upon Trent, York, Surrey, Dublin and probably more places.

I work on 8 farms taking milk samples from cows!! & love it. Unsociable hours restrict social life. But life is grand, peaceful and happy.

Hi, this is an interesting thred! I'm Michael Holmes, 65, married 41 years to Marion -called Penny. Don't ask! We moved to Canada - Dundas in Ontario - in 1971. 3 kids, a girl and 2 boys (one died 13 years ago); 4, soon to be 5 grandchildren. I am still doing medical research, trying to retire, but enjoy it too much. Don't suppose I'll ever meet any of you lovely people... too bad!

My name is Sandra, married for 39rs on 30/10 lived in Fulham London until 1968 when we emigrated to Australia and live in Wollongong South of Sydney. we have 2daughters and one son and seven grandchildren Just love doing geneology i think it's very addictive, my husbands ancesters all mainly come from the Chelsea, Battersea, Wandsworth area's, mine originate from Twickenham, then Chelsea, Fulham and also Wiltshire area's.
