Yes I have been married 3 times, which makes it a bit difficult on family trees!"My father was brought up in a home though found out about his fathers family when 18 and joining RAF. I was born in Scotland but was only there for 2 weeks, mother is Scottish. When I was 3 my father got a job in Indian where I stayed (apart from boarding school) till I was 25. It has always caused a problem when people ask where I am from. For the last 9 yrs have spent holidays in India and having retired in Dec. we went to India for 3 mts, travelling about. Have booked to do the same in Jan. next year. Have two wonderful children, Peter and Rachel and two lovely grandchildren with another due in march. Interests include birdwatching. I also attend a poetry for pleasure class. Now live in Chester which by pure coincidencence is 9 miles from where my gt grandfather was from.

Hi, I'm Andy, 29, single and from Saltburn, which is er..oop north - ok on the north east coast between Middlesbrough and Whitby to give you a better idea. I work in I.T. although I harbour desires of being a photographer. In addition to genealogy and photography, I also enjoy walking in the countryside and with living close to the North York Moors, there's plenty of area to explore and roam. I've lived in a few different places though, through university (lived in Hatfield, Hertfordshire for 3 years whilst doing my degree) and various jobs (St Leonards-on-Sea, Brighton, Burgess Hill, plus 18 months in Germany, both Frankfurt and Dusseldorf). I also love Scotland and have been to the Isle of Skye both this year and last year - beautiful locations and was lucky with the weather on each occasion.

Hello, My name is Susan Wainman nee Cooper. I was born in Bradford Yorkshire 56 years ago. I married Neville 35years ago after a 4 year "courtship". We lived in Bradford until 1986, ( apart from 1979 in Devon) before moving to Australia. We are now retired and live on a 2 acre property in Queensland. We have 1 aged parent, 2 dogs and 32 chickens and 1 rooster living with us. I don't have children but have 2 stepdaughter, 3 step grandaughters, 1 step gt granddaughter and 2 step gt grandsons still living in England. It has taken me 1 hour to read through this thread and I must go to feed my tribe. Susan
