Hi Is it too late to join? I am the dieting queen when it comes to KNOWING how to lose weight but when it comes down to losing it I'm pants! (Incredibly big XXL pants too!) I'm only just over 5ft and have loads to lose, at least 4 stone to keep the doctor happy. My best advice is to calorie count - yes it's boring but it's surprising when you tot it all up. On days when I thought I'd been good I'd consumed 2000+ calories. Bad days could be half as much again, and I'm not talking greasy fry ups & lard cakes. I crave chocolate and stodge (cakes, muffins, biscuits, white bread, etc) I'm sure that some of it's hormonal but a lot of it is for comfort/boredom. I need your help! Saz NB - Please can someone send me some willpower?

Can I join as well please. I need to loose 3 stone in total. Just having my last supper now, which includes crisps and a chocolate bar. Before I saw this thread I had decided I am going to go along to Slimming world this evening. This is a great idea, nice to see I am not on my own. Mandyx

Certainly cheaper and doesn't feel like a drag. I always felt depressed before my weekly meets, but looking forward to doing this in my own time in my own home. Saz

Hi all I would like to join. I have 5 stone to lose and have just joined a gym (I think my husband is paying them to kill me though! LOL) would really appreciate the support. Julie xxx PS Whats a PM and how do you do it?

Sarah

Sarah Report 19 May 2005 14:00

Hi Julie, Like you I've got to lose 5 stone aaaarrrggghhh. A PM is a personal message....just click on the name of the person you want to send a message to. Good luck with the gym and diet!!

Thanks Sarah, just out of interest how tall are you? I am only 4'11' and feel absolutely huge. Being married to a skinny man doesn't help either LOL Julie xxx

Sarah

Sarah Report 19 May 2005 14:14

Julie, I'm 5'9 and my hubby is the same height but he weighs a good 4 stone less than me! It's got to the point now I can't blame it on having babies as my youngest is 2. Doesn't help being at home with kids all day...more opportunity to pick at food.

Elaine, what about Muller light yogurts? There are loads of different flavours! Not exactly exciting, sorry.

Toothfairy

Toothfairy Report 19 May 2005 14:26

Or, Elaine, if you have sweet tooth you can eat sugar free jelly, if you're a crisp eater swap them to snacka jacks...x Day two was hell, day three will be worse... but i will wear my bikini on my hols! xx

Sarah

Sarah Report 19 May 2005 14:29

Sugar free jelly made with a little bit of boiling water and topped up with diet lemonade is nice. it keeps a bit of the fizz!

PolperroPrincess

PolperroPrincess Report 19 May 2005 14:33
