BB - if you are so deep in debt - please, you don't need another loan! You are just making matters worse. See a debt counsellor - see Citizens Advice but please don't borrow more money. Magsxx

i agree with Mags, Citizen Advice are excellent at this sort of thing, they have trained mediators to sort your finances out with companies involved. They will be able to negotiate on your behalf and sort out manageable payments for you. Even if you have been taken to court, they can intervene and take the pressure off you, legally and emotionally. Do give them a call today... it is so simple to do and you will feel so much better. :))

Baby like Mags says get debt advice at Citizens advice they will help you, And dont make yourself worried it will be ok. A man said to me years ago 'Dont worry about money let the firms who you owe it to worry about it' serious go to Citizens advice. Davex

Have you tried Citizens Advice? They have people trained to deal with this sort of thing. Do you get Housing Benefit? Have you talked to your local council benefit section? Magsxxx

I meant to say aswell BB, the CAB will sort things out for you there and then, they are very sympathetic and non Judgemental. you can sign an agreement for them to act on your behalf with the debt companies etc so you will not even have to deal with them at all. I know it is painfull but make sure you tell the CAB everything... they WILL sort it out for you. They are so knowledgeable on all the legalities involved and your rights. xx(especially concerning debt collectors!)

meercat is right, they CANNOT take anything that is not yours. Now, if you are worried about anything that is yours.... remove it from the property now... easy. But, saying that... you are within your rights NOT to let them in unless they have a warrant. If i am correct ( i think so) they have to have visited you 3 times before they can apply for a warrant. so if they have not... do not worry... CAB will sort it all out straight away. They will also check you are getting all the money you are entitle to from government etc... and sort that out too, you may be missing out on certain benifits. Sorry to keep going on... but i see alot of this sort of thing with my job and am always refering peeps to the CAB. I can do the counselling but they do the practical work. :))
