Right! I can help here! i'm also in serious debt... it got so back that a couple of months ago i couldn't take anymore and nearly did something stupid. Luckily, someone realised what was going on and arranged for me to see the CAB. They are fantastic! As has been said before, they are very non judgemental and will help you as much as is possible. All of the phonecalls have now stopped and so have the letters as they are dealing directly with Steve at CAB. If you need to talk to someone, i am here and will help you as much as i can. yes but at least you CAN see a light. there is always hope there.. no matter how small or clouded, there is always something we can do to put things right. And i dont mean doing something silly :)

i know,it was selfish to even consider it,but i just could see no way out,had tried debt management firms they wanted a payment first which i couldnt do

yes thats the problem with these firms... and usually people have no money to go to them... or if they had they wouldnt need them in the first place! Dont think about what you contemplated as selfish because that will make you feel down, but try to think, well, ok, i was so desperate i wasnt thinking clearly, but now i must focus a bit more because there is help out there and i wont be beaten.:)

Now , how are you getting on with contacting the CAB... is there someone you can go to to use their phone? your mum perhaps?

am at mums now,have the number,and the offices open at 10

maybe not, but lack of food causes nausia too... try something easy like a plain biscuit and cup of tea... thats a start :))
