Our daughter when she was about 8 used to sing 'maybe its because I,m a luncheoner' for maybe its because I.m a Londoner. She used to get really uptight when you tried to tell her she had it wrong, would say very beligerantly 'well thats how I want to sing it' Shirley

Hope I dont get booted off for this one but my mam is so niave shes funny. She loves Dr Hook but I dont think she understands some of the things they sing about. One day she is singing her heart out along to 'Freakin at the Freakers Ball. When the line, 'Pass that roach please, and pour the wine' came along. My mam was singing, 'Pass that rose please, and pour the wine'. When I laughed at her she didn't know why. She didn't know what a roach was. Natalia x
