Hi Laurie, There are still some things that I won't do for him. I must admit the pills are very pretty, almost the same as the pain killers that I take. Is it cold in the bay today? SuzyQ

Afternoon Wattlers, Still at work grrrr. supposed to finish at 12.00 on Saturdays but have been soooo busy had to stay back to get rid of backlog of cars. Bright blue sky and sunshine my garden beckons and I cant get out there boo hooo. Suzy keep the marathons going I really enjoy them. Are you going to take the plunge with some fishies ? How are you today Jood - improving a little each day I hope. Mary good news about the unit - fingers crossed you get it. Well Jude 2 will no doubt be lapping up the fine weather on Hamilton island by now, (I'm not sure we even went away last weekend have been feeling a little shell shocked after this week) hope you have a wonderful time. Gwenda have to laugh at the antics of moggie 3 - think you have a new addition - fed them and their anybodies lol. Its been too chilly for our abyssinian Cleo this week for the first time in 11 years she has been sleeping on the ducted heating vents - might have to make her a patchwork coat. Lara its not the same reading your messages go back to the old way - much more fun. I'm hoping the weather is going to stay above 10 deg or I'm not going to get any painting done - have to do some DIY-ing instead. Well I'm outta here finally, fingers crossed for tonight for wattlelotto - have a great weekend. ~~~~~~~~~~ hello to everyone else jude 3

The Sun is out Suzy, but its vey cold, the wind is blowing a good gust for the mad sailboarders who are out there jumping and bobbing about! There are very dark clouds just offshore, so I wouldn't be suprised if it doesn't rain this afternoon. I went for a walk down the street just a little while ago to pick up Rays drycleaning for him, and the wind nearly blew me inside out! I had run for cover into the coffee lounge and have a little treat to get me back home. luv Laurie

Just a bit of trivia I meant to tell you about when I was in hospital. On the Wednesday it was dogs visiting day, and I was honoured by a visit from a beautiful cream labrador named Ben. .. He was absolutely gorgeous. There were 2 other cream dogs visiting other patients. .. I had heard dogs visiting hospitals, but never been lucky enough to meet any. <Ben was the only visitor I had> They certainly would cheer up any really sick patients. Jood

Oh Jood How gorgeous. I've read that they are keeping dogs around retirement homes now as they are such good company for the residents. We have a golden labrador next door - Barney - and we get to look after him when the neighbours are away. He comes running to the fence with his lead in his mouth as soon as he hears us come outside in the morning. We think that going for a walk for a dog is the equivalent of reading the paper for humans. They sniff and stickybeak and scratch around the place to find out the latest gossip in the doggy world. And of course Barney has to leave a few drops of pee to let his mates know that he has been out and about! His pee tank never seems to run dry! We are off to Katherine's musical - hope the lotto news is good and then you can come to Brisvegas! Take care and keep warm in this icy weather, Luv Anna

Evening all I've been flat out doing work on my FH, needed a break so I came here to read all the goings on over the last day and a bit. So tell me all you Qld'ers (Anna excepted as shes up the mountain) how cold are you talking 15, 18, 20 degrees??? Well if you see 2 oldies running around in shorts and tshirts, dont worry they are probably my parents getting away from our 10 to 13 degrees max and 0 or below over night lol. They are at Townsville tonight and Airlie Beach tomorrow night, also going out to one of the islands, not sure what one you are on Pam? David has to go out at 6.30 in the morning, in the dark and cold, and de-ice the car so he can go to work. Well fingers, toes and everything else crossed that is possible for tonights Tattslotto. Hello to one and all, waving from in front of my heater thinking about going out in zero degrees in the morning for my daily walk, thinking of you all snuggled up in your warm beds :-( Cheers Sue

Hi my mad friends.. What a day.. You should see our garage. we didnt know we had so much junk in it...LOL Well it is soon going to be nearly empty and about time to..We have a man comming next week to help clean out all the rubbish and do some painting here and there for us.The house goes on the market next week and I do hope it sells fast as I cant stand all the inspections etc.and I dont want to lose the unit..They dont take deposits on property any more as it means nothing and the vendor can accept another offer and give you back your deposit.. so it is advisable to exchange contracts as soon as possible.. Hay Trifley If you have any of those big burley brothers free send me one as I need all the help I can get.. Then it there are more I will take all I can get..What do I pay them ,,, peanuts or chockies.. If we win lotto tonight I wont have to worry so just wait and see if it is good news,,, Well I am off to bed so see ya later Waves to all ,you lovely crazy nuts,, Love Maryxxx

I tell you.....sometimes I HATE this site! Hello Wattlers I just lost a post...again. So here it is in Readres Digest form. SuzyQ....we sometimes get our fish from Ferry Rd. They are good price and clean. Today I got 2 silver sharks from Robina. I love our tank....I can see it from the kitchen and looks lovely. Mark does a good job of keeping it clean. Joodles....Matrons would have fainted at a dog in a hospital years ago. But now they understand the benefits of the visits on recooperation. Hope you are continuing to improve. Laurie...a little coffee helps fight off the effects of cold wind....enjoy. Temp is 14.2*C at Gold Coast airport so probably a little cooler here. We are expecting 9* over night. If it gets any cooler I'll have to shut some windows. Anna....how did Katherines musical go? Did her hair look good? I've started to ferret through my wardrobe in preparation for next weekend. I'm thinking layers. A jacket I can take off in the casino where it will be airconditioned and of course....the tiara. I went into a shop in Pac Fair, called Gypsy Rose. They are theatrical wig makers, masks...you name it they've got it. 'Yes madam we have tiaras. They are made with the finest Belgian crystals. In fact Paris Hilton bought 8 when she was here last. Which one would you like.....they are only $156'. Me.....cough, splutter....ahhh....uummm...'maybe not this time'. Trifley makes a gracious exit. haaa pmsl Ooooo look at the time...better check the lotto. Trifley XX

Just pay them in choccies and the dear boys will bring them home for me. I hope your house sells quickly so you can get that unit. My niece and her partner put their house in ??Southerland, on the market and it sold in about 9 days. Fingers X X X that yours does as well. Trifley X
