Afternoon wafflers.... er Wattlers - ppppp Back from being made beautiful - choke choke Did a bit of retail therapy - bought 2 l/s T's & a jumper - whether I need them or not and got some usb sticks so have been busy moving things around. Laurie - have emptied inbox again Mary - yes I work in Woden Plaza. Instead of doing 26 hours over 4 days I'm going to be working 24 hours over Friday, Saturday & Sunday which means I will have a couple of days that I can use for the Library. Friend from work and I haven't managed to go together at all this year because our free days don't gel. I'm positive it is colder this year - gas bill said so - we seemed to have used a lot more this year so far than same time last year - apart from one night when I left it running after having it on manual setting during the day - ooooppps. Only drizzling here but still it is a steady drizzle so not enough to send to others - sorry Better get something to munch on and then do some more ironing. 3rd cat only seems to love me for my cat food - since I put it back out this morning it hasn't been back. Cheeky little thing was climbing the wire door to get in too Catch up later, Gwenda |

I have just fed the mummy cat and ginger kitten :-) The mummy doesn't look to be more than 6 months old herself. I'm going to contact WIRES and borrow a possum trap and try to catch them, but first I have to lull them into a false sense of security - good old whiskas! Seeya, Lew Lew xxx |

Hi everyone Bush walking this morning - beautiful day - didn't need a jumper. Went to see Da Vinci Code yesterday - I went with an open mind having read the book and not knowing what they would do with the movie. I'm afraid Tom Hanks didn't do it for me. Katherine had to practice for her School Musical until 9.30pm last night so Chris and I snuck out to a lovely local Mexican Restaurant for his birthday dinner - it was just yum. Hi Vanessa - please don't be shy. We are all bark and no bite you know. How wonderful that your bub has started crawling forwards - Chris and I were looking at a baby the other day and were reminiscing about how much time we used to spend gazing at Katherine and admiring every little thing she would do. We look back on our home videos now and she stars in all of them. That wretched Trifley has given all the boys the weekend off when we are in Brisvegas - I think she's worried that we'll wear them out - they would be just shells of men with no vigour left whatsoever. Shame, shame, shame Trifley - share and share alike I say. Catch you all later - we'll be up to 5100 before you can blink an eye! Thanks Tony and Trifley and Nefer for the lotto numbers. Oooooh! such a lot to check out Trifley. Can you imagine if we won on Saturday night? Brisvegas wiould be rockin' and we'd all be flashing the fantastic plastic! Now just flashing the plastic thankyou ladies - nothing immodest or unseemly!! Luv Anna Lew Lew - so glad you were able to feed the little puss family - poor little mother puss - some nasty Tom has obviously taken advantage of her since she's just a baby herself. Hope you find a nice home for them. Blimey, Joodles. My eyesight is really going to pieces - I thought you said to Lew - Don't forget some pickles and I was wondering why on earth you would be feeding cats pickles! Then I reread it and realised it said piccies!! This old girl is really falling to bits. |

Yes, Vanessa, don't be shy, promise we won't hurt you, lol. Great news about your little girl. What's her name? My eyesight must be as bad as yours, Anna. I also read that as pickles and thought 'OMG, Joods had some kind of relapse!' Lew Lew xxx |

Hello again Vanessa Glad you added to the Wattle thread - the more the merrier and if some of the things we say sound strange - just ask. You'll get the hang of our waffle after a while. Some of the people on here are quite delusional but we humour them! Enjoy every minute with your baby girl - they are so precious and they grow up so quickly. Imagine - Hannah will be one year old before long! I'm glad I wasn't the only one with poor eyesight Lew Lew! See ya Anna |

Happy Talk keep talking Happy talk, Talk about things you like to do, If you don't have a dream How you gonna have a dream come true Happy talk keep talking Happy Talk, More from South Pacific it's one of my favs too. Putor is still bit wonky so copying this as I go on the laptop as desk top is on 98 and doesn't have the convenient small notebook that xp has. Van came off the production line yesterday so countdown to getting it has started. This is day one, going the opposite direction to every one else , But we will see how long it takes and then we can start countdown to leaving here and heading up nth. Gosh Laurie how come all your rellies are so findable or is it because you are good looker in more ways than one. Mary an extra inch either way makes a big difference pmls Good luck Lew they can be very protective of the kittens if she has been living a ferrel life Joodles you would have got on with my mum she had six sets of clothes two sizes either way and two seasons she had everything shed ever owned some needed pants taken out or in all in the sewing room up to the ceiling , presents shed forgotten shed bought and put away and didnt know where they were so she bought more so much stuff never ever opened . Vanessa you are very lucky best time of your life when they are little every day is to be ttreasured with them , my Cassie used to crawl backwards till she got the hang of going forward she used to go under the couch we had at that time which was high off the floorand the Id hear ouohhh uooohh and would look under there and she couldn't come forward to get out , lovely memories nice to see you on here again and join us whenever you can and we definatly don't bite For some reason Billie who is ussually up nth. with us by now thinks as it gets darker earlier he has to be fed now so will go as he is sitttting under putor desk just staring at me making me feel very mean cause wasn't go to feed him this early but can't stand the greasy look I'm getting bye for now love Lara |

Bleedin hell wattlers . . . we're going along at more than 100 msg's a day . . . My eyes are so blurry from all the scrolling I have been doing today, that if pickles and pickies is the worse you are doing . . . believe me your going along just fine. I have had to do so many double takes its not funny . . . I have copied and pasted so much info today - maybe only a little bit will end up being relevant, hopefully at least some . . . I have old county maps spread all over the table with different coloured spot stickers to mark my families footsteps. The biggest thrill is seeing how close my mum and dads ancestors were living, only to be joined at the hip in Aust two generation later - at one point in time, my mums gtgtuncle had a shop three doors from my dads gtgramps in Dover . . . . I must add that we never knew that untill I got 1841 census !! Mum didn't know her rellies had lived in Kent for a time. Bay is looking really lovely with the sun gleaming across on the giraffes at an angle, nice little highlights on the clouds, some of which are looking very dark. Fingers crossed! Off to prepare for the homecoming of the lovely Ray - good old steak and veg for dinner tonight, with fresh mushroom sauce! cheers luv Laurie |
