Morning Jood, you just caught me, I was about to log off. Not sure what the problem was. I ran AVG, ad-aware, reset the puter and it was still slow. So I defragged, reset and still no better. The pages on GR weren't loading, the little hourglass wouldn't disappear and I couldn't refresh anything. Don't know what the prob was but it seems to be fine this morning. Anyway, I'm off. Have a great day babe, and take care. love Rebs x |

Morning All and good morning Gwenda. I haven't been about to get close to the kittens - yet! I am very patient. I must catch them, so they will be looked after properly. Now, what the dickens were you lot on last night. We had a couple of friends over for dinner and I log on this morning to find that you've all gone completely potty, pmsl. Wonder what people think when they look in on us? Probably glad they sent us to Australia, lol. Thanks for the Lotto, Trifley and Tony. Ooo, $27M. We'd all be very well off then, wouldn't we! Minus 2 here this morning, but now the sun is out, the frost should dry up pretty quickly. 29 SLEEPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you all have a wonderful day. Lew Lew *wanders off mutter 'what were they taking last night'* |

Too late for Rebs .. I was just going to say maybe rebooting last night might have solved the problem. .. I always say 'when in doubt, reboot'. Hi Gwenda, yes, the Wattlers keep me going, I am thoroughly bored otherwise. Skies are greyish outside, dont know if that means rain later, or not .. a bit too early yet. Jood |

Good morning Gwends, Rebs, Joodles Lew - and all those who have not made it to the puter this morning! Sad lot aren't we . . . . Since I pushed Ray out the door this morning I have had a most successful time following up a link from GR member on Hants wills . . . think I have found 4 of my family . . . best step now would be for Ray to send me over for a couple of weeks so I can get among em' . . . in my dreams, . . . well maybe after Sat Lotto draw I will make the bookings!!!! The lovely Ray had half his office home last night, catching up on things that needed doing, time differences make it a necessary evil some times. . . anyway he walked out the door with his trolley loaded up this morning and poor bugger - 'Lift no workie' - 7 floors later he rings to say someone had jammed a newspaper in the doors on the ground floor . . . not a good way to start his day! We have a lot of grey cloud hanging over the bay this morning, with the sun trying hard to break through. Officially the first day of winter, but I think it has set in early this year! There are only two giraffes with their heads up, suprisingly there are lots of little boats out at the heads, so the fish must be about. Rake tractor man has been along and cleared the beach, though there are not so many footprints around at this time of year. Whale watch out on the heads have already spotted a few on the move, so we will probably go sit with eyes glued for a while on the weekend. Hope you all have a lovely day . . . will leave you with a little math to brighten up your day . . . . LIFE MATHEMATICS: Smart man + smart woman = romance Smart man + dumb woman = affair Dumb man + smart woman = marriage Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy ______________________________ OFFICE ARITHMETIC Smart boss + smart employee = profit Smart boss + dumb employee = production Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime _____________________________ SHOPPING MATH A man will pay $20 for a $10 item he needs. A woman will pay $10 for a $20 item that she doesn't need. _____________________________ GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife. A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man. _____________________________ HAPPINESS To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little. To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all. _____________________________ LONGEVITY Married men live longer than single men do, but married men are a lot more willing to die. ____________________________ PROPENSITY TO CHANGE A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does. _____________________________ DISCUSSION TECHNIQUE A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument. _____________________________ HOW TO STOP PEOPLE FROM BUGGING YOU ABOUT GETTING MARRIED Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, 'You're next.' They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals. cheers luv Laurie |

Good morning to you Good morning to you Good morning dear Waffleeeeerrrrsss Good morning to you Another bewdiful sunny, crisp day on the Gold Coast. Graeme was feeling all energetic this morning and has been working on the bath since 8:30am. If he keeps going at this rate he'll have it finished in no time. We are heading off to have a birthday lunch with an old family friend then down to Tweed Heads to visit my ex-sil. She is down from Darwin with a ladies bowls group for a competition. I haven't seen her for about 4 years so it will be good to catch up. We always keep in contact by email but getting together for a chin wag will be fun. Lew Lew.....good luck with your kitten catching. Make a noise like a mother cat and you might have some luck. 29 bottles of chardy on the wall....not long to go now. Hi Joodles...don't forget your morning breathing exercise...in....out...in...out. That's the way. Have a good day. ~~~~~waves to Gwenda, Laurie, Rebs and everyone of the wonderful Wattlers. I'll be back tonight. Trifley (X^x) PS....yooo hooo....Cat...where are you? Your not working Adapa too hard are you? I'll need him back soon to help Lara pack her caravan and I don't want him worn out. |

Jude3 ... I was up early as usual this morning, had my shower, and decided to lay down for a while - .... 1 hour later, here I am!!! ... I guess that speaks for itself. .. Still coughing at times. Yes, winter officially here, tho I suspect it crept here earlier. .. Not nice outside. <This was written a while ago, forgot to send!> Morning Trifley .. I too was worried that Adapa was being overworked, and Cat has been suspiciously quiet too. 'm also concerned about when girls go to lunch at Lew Lew's place. .. Lew Lew assured me she'd keep things in hand (but she had tongue in cheek at the time) Jood |

Just had to share . . . . Further investigation of the Hampshire site reveals in the records office they have a booklet which is a record of the cleaning, washing, mangleing and starching done by my gtgtgran in the 1870's !!! How much do I want to win Lotto ????? I might add she was also in her 70's at the time . . . dont you just love it when you have a find - she was widowed in 1856, and took up cleaning and laundry to support the family. cheers luv Laurie |

Morning, again, all. Mary, I'm planning nothing for my retirement at this point. Just want to stop and smell the roses for a while. Geshtu has been busy this morning vacuuming and dusting in anticipation of tomorrow's little soiree. He's worked up a bit of a sweat and his muscles are glistening in the sunlight. Mmm, best go and have a cold shower, pmsl. Seeya Lew Lew xxx |
