Morning All, Laurie its not so strange to go door knocking looking for peeps. I did it in Thurso Scotland and found the the ladies I was looking for. Also, my Mum has lived in the same street for 75 of her 77 yrs (in 3 different homes) and its not unusual for her to answer the door to find someone has been sent to her when they are looking for a person who has lived in the street in the past. Got some wages to do so back later Have a good day Jude2 |

Well I've had my shower, smell all lovely now. Joodles how are you today, hopefully feeling like you are starting to get on top of things. Lew, gee -14 sounds cold as it would have been up the mountain here the other day, but it would never get to 44 in the summer lol, but then again it is Tassie. The bloke that is on our morning radio show said he used to be up the Blue Mountains doing a bit of radio work, he walked to work, only a block or so, one morning and it was well in the minuses, he said the minute he walked out the door his face burnt/stung with the cold. Morning Jude2, hows things over your way, apart from that unmentionable game, we both started off well :-(( Cheers Sue |

Its supposed to go downhill after today so I'll be glad to take off on saturday for 10 days in the sun. I hate the cold!! Hi everyone.. Just popped in to see if you are all behaving yourselves before I have to take John to doctors. Jill Just a suggestion.. with the people in Botany.. Try the WHITE PAGES and see if it tells you who lives in that address. Not sure if it will work but it may.If it brings up a phone nimber for that house ring and see who lives there..LOL I found Honey Rums cousin that way and he nearly died of shock.I did have his name though which was a lot easier. Good Luck.. You all seem in good form and Joodles glad you are behaving yourself.. Will try and get back tonight .. Love Maryxxx |

Arvo Wafflers. Nice sunny day in Malborn. Having a bite to eat ( Subway )..chicken fillet.....alf fer her, alf fer me...lol Jill. Was reading your request, re Botany Rd. Not to familiar with N.S.W Gazette's,( being a Victorian ) but the 1926 might be the difficult part. Most Libraries carry Post office Directories but only up to certain years. You could always check out what might be available in Gazettte's, Wise's, Kellys, ect, ect..that you could give to the person who emailed you, as a guide. Can get a bit costly though. Here's a couple of Links to what you might find in Australia through cd's, Fiche, Books, ect Remove ( ) Gould Genealogy: http://www.gould(.)com.au/content/Australia.htm Australian State Directories Archive and cd books. http://www.archivecdbooks(.)com.au/Directories-and-Almanacs-s/16.htm Hope everyone is having a great day. Tony Oz..:>)) ps. 19 sleeps.......lol |

Afternoon Wattlers, All you peeps heading for the warmth are making me jealous. I thought i had a cold and was just feeling a bit green. now i know i am green with envy hehe. Still no rain and not even half the crop in, think i am tired of being a farmer. Would sell up in a minute, but OH loves it. don't get me wrong i love farming too, mostly, but am tired of being so dependant on the weather. Enough whinging, must be that i am not myself today. I have to have my professional development interview on Friday, what can i say to make the boss see that i am a fantastic employee, and not at all biased lol. Think i might need the gift of the gab, lucky that is something i do have hehe. Hope all the sickies are feeling better. Take care Wilson |

Afternoon Wattlers, Been like reading War & Peace, and I never did finish that. I know that I won't be able to remember 12 pages but I will do my best. I hate tick bites, They really hurt when you pull them out. Joodles, glad you are feeling better. Lew Lew, did you catch the kittens yet. Trifley, glad you got the CMOS battery fixed. Sue, I can't give blood either because I live in the UK before 1986, some thing to do with mad cows desease, ( no rude comments please ). Honey Rum, nice to hear from you. Hope you make it to Queensland on your next visit. Jude, I suggest you take some warm pj's with you. Can get cold at night. Beautiful days though. Laurie, went to Jimboomba yesterday shopping, and went to suss out the Jimboomba Pet Motel. Do You know it? Seems okay so booked Lucy in for the 10th. Mary, some bad news. We left the chooks out yesterday, as normal, and when we put them away for the night 2 were missing. It was getting too dark to do a search, but assumed the eagles must have taken them. Some good news though, when we opened the shed this morning one of them came walking out, so the eagles just got one. I have got new meds for the diabetes so I know have to take regular blood tests, and will have sore finger tips again. Also I have to go back to the stronger dose of one tablet for blood pressure/palpitations, because my pulse is up around 100. Neville has got broncitus and is on antibiotics. Don't you just love your man when he is sick LOL. Now this is becoming like war and peace so I will wrap up for now Luv SuzyQ |

Suzy Q,I was beginning to think Norm was going to finish up with pnuemonia too. .. At least they have diagnosed and are treating him. Good that you have your meds all sorted out too. Awww sorry about the poor old chicken .. but I guess that's life in the country. .. I'd never make a farmer. Good to hear from you Wilson, hope you don't get sick. Vonny hope you have stopped scratching now. Tony how do you manage to live on take-aways and VB tablets and other vices and still stay healthy, eh??? Must be something in the Malbin water you reckon? Jude I was only thinking a moment ago that Lew must be actually working today .. not a peep out of her since she was eating vegemite on crumpet this morning. .. Poor little kits would be staaaaaaaarving. Maybe Lew has a guilty conscience (hee hee) and is trying to catch up on her work or maybe shes dreaming of Nefir's brother, wondering if she'd take his loin cloth off and put the Richardson Kilt on. These decisions take a lot outo'yer. *running away* <well walking away> Jood |
