Tassie .. These are my grandkids from Bendigo, Vic, the ones I visit once a year on my 11 hour trek by car. I asked my daughter if they were cold, up to that point, days had been ok, but the motels were cold, ie. no heating, except electric blankets. .. I guess if you know these things before hand, you could pop a small heater in the car, for use at night, couldnt you? Jood

Jood I suppose the temps would not be much different between Bendigo and here, but you definately need a heater or heating of sorts. Was it a popular motel chain or just a small motel/hotel? Even still they should have heating and I would have asked. As you said if they had known they could have bought one from home, if they are over here for a while it might pay to buy a cheap heater. Only there for 10 days Tassie (or whats left of it, they sailed over last Friday night). .. Im not sure where exactly they are staying, what sort of motel. .. I didn't really even know they were going till about a week before, I think it was a hurried decision. .. I would have asked them more about it before they left. Jood

Hope your feeling better mate x Been working in Melb.city at the moment,so up early and late home. Just ordered Pizza for tea, Pepperoni & Garlic bread ( home delivery ) Cant remember who's turn to buy Lotto...think its Trifley's. Suitcases are on couch, and have been finding bits& pieces from our last trip to the U.K last Sept. Just the normal stuff Barb knocks off from Motel/Hotel rooms.....lol Soaps, Tea & Coffee, Shampoos, conditioners, Hot chocolate sachets, ect.....no wonder her convict ancestors got 7 years in Tassie.....hee hee Nephew and girlfriend have put their hand up to house sit while we are away.... Wonder why???....lol Hes 28.. single bachelor, 6ft 3......built like Schwarzenegger, Computer Engineer, drives a Porsche....and still lives at home.Has his own unit at back of parents ( my sisters ) home.....smart lad.( no overheads ) I often say to him, when ya gunna get married..?? What..he says, and be like you Uncle Tony....5 kids.... Mortgage.. Grey hair....Drive a commodore,and shell out money for your Grand kids...:>((( Think Il'e pass at the moment, he says.....lol Wots wrong with a Commodore....:>(( Hope everyone had a great day.
