Afternoon Wattlers . . . Been working on brownie points this morning - they are like shoes, you can never have too many brownie points girls !!!!! I have so much new info to type up this afternoon, people out on my twigs have been very generous - heaps of copies of certs have arrived overnight, unfortunately they are in different directions - so the old head is spinning with different names! No word from Joodles yet - I sms'd her this morning, but I'm sure she will get back to me when she can. I'll leave it a while before I ring in case she is caught up! Thank you wattlers . . . your good at giving my laughing gear a work out! Devly, thinking of you ((((hug)))) prayers for some good news! I have only been with GR just over a month and must admit haven't got too far. Just wondering if there are any South Aussies in the Wattlers Club. What I am looking for is someone to sit with me and help me disipher the info I have already been given by some other kind members and to work thru census, birth, deaths etc cause I can never seem to find anything myself. Are all your ancestors from OZ or do they go back to the UK. We dont seem to have many from SA but most on this thread are very knowledgable and helpful.. Laurie Havent you finished that filing yet..I got 2 marriage cert. last week and they are still a mystery.. More work needed and a bit of luck...What makes it more dificult is the time frame which is the beginning of the 1900s and no census to go to.. Give Joodles my love when you ring and tell her we miss her..Did she smuggle her lappy into hospital... Hi Wattlers, I have sent most of you, the ones I have emails for, a copy of the new list, it is already out of date as I didn't add Lyn's birthday. You will have to print it out and add yourself. I keep a copy infront of me. You will notice a lot of ommissions, can any one help with them. Devily I do hope that your MIL is okay. I have a friend with melanoma which is in operable. They are health freaks and she is treating herself with diet and meditation etc. Jodles, are you home? Now behave yourself and if you start to feel ill just give Laurie a call, she will look after you. I have a problem with the washing powder and machine. I gather that I need to put the old model in first and he just doesn't fit. He is also getting quite upset that I keep trying to push him into the machine. I told him he had to look for all the odd socks. LOL I am trying to think of words to describe my wattling friends and I will get back to you when the brain starts to function. Got to do some copying for OH now so will look in later. Love SuzyQ
