Have been called worse in my time, and I honestly don't take offence to any of these names - it's nice that people are friendly and not standoffish. Life's too short to bicker over a term of endearment or friendliness, so you carry on Diana, just be yourself and call me what you will (Interfering old bat would upset me tho lol) Liz

Hi Diana, on the rare occassion we have chatted i havnt been offended by you saying sweetie etc... We up North use these sayings quite abit.eg..Pet , chick,(not meant in the way some men use it), and love. they are just terms of endearment and not meant in a derogative way.
