I did'nt know your Mum Gaynor but from the threads that have been posted on this board she must have been an exceptional lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. Linda

Gaynor, I am sure you will shed many tears while saying goodbye to your Mum, and yet you may find things to make you smile too, memories are wonderful treasures and keep our loved ones close to us always - the happy memories are there to comfort us most. You will miss your Mum and want to tell her things that you have seen, heard or done, but just think those things in your head and your heart, and your Mum will know anyway. I have just read a book called 'Five people you meet in Heaven' and in there is a passage that reads: 'Lost love is still love (-) It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them round a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it. Life has to end.(-) Love doesn't.' I think that is a beautiful way to put it and I hope it brings you comfort. My thoughts are with you and all of June's family. Rest in Peace June, Liz
