As you probably know My Mum's funeral is tomorrow at 11:00am. I am just about to print off all the messages of condolence you have all added to put them into a display book. I would like to say a huge 'THANKYOU' for all your messages, we have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of them all. They have a been a great comfort, even the vicar was amazed. My heart is breaking and I feel right now like nothing will ever be the right again. My Mum was unique, she was my best friend and nothing will ever fill this void, but we all have to remember, Mum would not wish us to be unhappy. One day I hope I can smile again without feeling the pain inside. I know she is with me, I can almost feel her around me. I love you so much Mum, please give me strength to get through tomorrow. Thankyou again everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Gaynor x |

It does get easier to bear as time goes by, Gaynor. I'll be thinking of you and your family tomorrow morning. Yesterday I gave a donation to the British Heart Foundation in your Mum's name. She was a lovely lady and I will miss chatting to her in the mornings. Gwynne |

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow...I'm so lucky, I still have my mum....but my mother in law was like a second mum to me and my father in law was the only father I'd ever known....I can now look back at all the happy times there were and hope you will one day as well... I'm sure she is with you - they've been with me from time to time.. |

Dear Gaynor My prayers are for you and the family. Tomorrow will not be easy, but you will be given the strength to come through it all. I never had the opportunity to meet June, but even very recently she has been a support to me with some health problems I have. Hold on tight to your memories as those will never be taken from you. The pain does ease with time. I think you never really accept the fact that your loved ones are gone, but you become used to living with the fact. Never be afraid to talk abour her. She would not want you to be unhappy, and I'm sure that she is looking down on you all. Take care. Pauline (((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) |

Gaynor Each day that passes, in time will be less painful Whilst those days become less painful, your memories will grow richer and more colourfull by the day One day you will look back and see only the happy memories you mum left you with Her memory will always be alive as is her spirit Take that one day at a time Elaine x . |

Hi, I think losing your mum is the most distressing thing in your lifetime. It is some 25 years ago that I lost my mother, but I still think 'oh I must tell mum that'. I suppose this will never leave me. It is the mother/daughter bond, the navel string connection which you don't have with your father. I wish you the strength to hold yourself tomorrow. Sylvia xxx |
