Dear Gaynor, Your Mum would be so proud of you for being so strong already. I never met her but could see what a large part she played in making a lovely atmosphere on GR. She certainly was unique and has been appreciated all over the world. Not many people can say that! Take comfort in that we'll all be thinking of you all tomorrow. All the best Claire |

Dear Gaynor, I have felt so sad for you since last week even though we've never met as I know how dreadful things are at a time like this. It's 7 and a half years since my dear mum died and I still miss her- even dreamed about her last night! There are so many things I'd love to say, tell and share with her- I've found so much out about her family history that I'm sure she'd love to hear if she were around today. My dear, your grief will get better in time, hard as it may seem right now, and you will be able to look back with a smile instead of a tear when something reminds you of your mum. Gaynor, I did not know that June was your mum, how lucky you were to have been her daughter. There are alot of people on here who I am sure wished that they had known her better, me for one. It always amazed me how caring of other people she was, well tomorrow is a special day for her and loads of us will be thinking of her and saying a little prayer for you and your family too. Nothing is going to make it easy, there is no use pretending so go along with all that has to be done and grieve, don't try to be brave for the sake of others, you have a right to go through the feelings that will surface. People will be here to listen to how you are feeling, today, tomorrow and for as long as it takes Much love and special thoughts for your mum and you Janet x |
