I think it is a shame that the thread Supercrutch put up was RR'd, because it had opened up a good discussion about peoples views of what is happening on the boards and now that has gone :-(

I don't think I saw that thread Joy, but other people have commented on the fact that they couldn't understand it's removal :-(

I.m sorry it went too as I thought it went a little way to people seeing more than just one point of view

I've been busy all day and have completely missed this - sounds as though it would have been very interesting to hear views about the weekend happenings.

What did it say?

I really do not know what is happening on here.....seem to miss all the controversial threads.
I come on here,look down the list and see requested for review on so many posts.
Becoming quite a habit....and in some cases to be a sort of honour to be RRd!!,, :-S :-S

l'm not sure which thread it was either, l did see something early this morning by Sue and it seemed ok to me:)

I think the gist of the thread was that Sueping called John a 'dick' and later changed it to pillock, for posting a somewhat frivolous thread soon after we heard of Sandie's passing.

Some of us agreed and a lot of us didn't.. I was out most of the day so I didn't see how the thread progressed.

Sue said words the the effect "John - stop being a pillock" and berated him for starting a somewhat frivolous thread when we had really only just heard about Sandie's untimely death

He did start a stupid thread - don't know if it's still here - sayng that he had been asked not to post on threads of the following people - and then listed just about every one of us who posts on here

To be honest, and I said so at the time, I imagine Sandie would have gone on that thread and called him a pillock too - I could see where Sue was coming from at the same time

John reported it - he said so on the thread. He also said in the same post that he reported his own thread - why he didn't just delete it only he knows. Seems an odd thing to do but there you go.

Just saving us from speculation and finger pointing. The post was there for all to read.

I am not surprised the thread was pulled....it seems you are not allowed to say anything on here

I got reported for saying "I admit I dislike you" to someone...although I believe the person then said on a thread that I said " I hated" the said person.....not quite the same

This was my reply from GR....

Publicly stating you dislike another member is likely to cause upset which breaches clause 2 of our terms and conditions of board use

Depends who said it to whom.

There were many other 'frivolous' posting in the afternoon prior to the thread John put on last night. His thread was such an absolute wind-up and I posted on it to say as much. Nobody acknowledged my post but continued adding to it anyway.

Lyndi, yes it is a pity that the post by Supercrutch was deleted because it did contain a great deal of varied opinions from members and I actually typed a reply but unfortunately when I hit the submit button it had disappeared!
