have you noticed that phone books are getting smaller with each edition - just had a new Thomsons Directory - very small indeed |

Dermot. I think they are past their sell by date. I treat mine like restaurant menus now. Through the door (because they are small now and go through letter box) and straight into recycling bag - still in their cellophane wrap. |

I disagree totally that they are past their sell by dte - not everyone has access to the internet to find addresses and telephone numbers - probably ten years hence they will be, but not yet |

Sue. How does that community up in Ryedale communicate. Was that the valley with the old lady who became a celebrity about 30 years ago? Documentary about her isolated life, I think. |
