There were tributes today in Welsh Senedd to Lady Thatcher. All four party leaders spoke. Carwyn Jones (First Minister and only Labour politician in UK in power currently) will be attending tomorrow and hoped that the day would go off without protest. Leader of Opposition Andrew R T Davies (Conservative) will also be in St Pauls. |

Maybe John, the rabble who have threatened to throw lumps of coal at the procession and the hearse. |

Well, no good worrying about that. Think most of those in coal areas who have never liked Mrs T will not be able to afford to travel to London or throw coal. |

I'm not confused by what Errol said - "rabble" - those who are having celebration parties etc. Surely you understand that? |

John is there any reason why you have singled out those particular areas? |

Singled out those areas because they were areas of heavy industry - with lots of fairly well paid jobs in steel and coal. Lady T never achieved her objective of uniting Britain, and I think the interest in tomorrow's events will probably be very muted in those areas. |

But I still don't understand why you single out those areas - there were plenty more parts of the country with heavy industry, mining etc |

Not odd at all, Errol. Plenty of places had coal mines and steel works. Kent, Black Country. Question applies to all of those areas as well - I just gave a couple of examples. Sorry to confuse you. |

I may have my history wrong but I thought the Black Country mining industry had gone before the Thatcher years? |
