Is this the bash Dizzi thread......she asked a question which seemed perfectly reasonable to me....and to which I contributed. Where is the anger coming from, I thought we prided ourselves at having a friendly helpful chat thread where we are free to post on most subjects without fear of being slated. I always stay away from threads that get out of hand, but it beggars belief that some people can be so cutting towards a fellow member who when all said and done has not committed any crime!!

Well my mistake was saying I have epilepsy & the glare is effecting me...I didnt realise I needed to provide medical evidence.

EDIT you have to wonder about the mentality of someone who thinks epilepsy is something to "LOL" about.

You have to wonder about someone that tries to turn things into something they are not ..

I am open to debate on most threads but my input is my opinion

every one has an opinion and we are all entitled to post our opinion

you appear to want your views heard, But are not happy to allow others to air their views and i have noticed before that you tent to mainly criticise when you comment on a thread rather than trying to give a positive comment


your comment that was RR'd was justified for the reason stated above IMHO although i never RR'd it i did think about it but it had gone before i had decided so will never no if i would have

PP it is my opinion that people are not happy about .. it is just too ridiculous to blame this site when I do not doubt they visit other sites with a white background

T he reason I said only one reply? yes with a question mark is because you had MORE than one reply at that point , but yes only one from someone with epilepsy so assumed you meant that you wanted replies from epileptics .. and as for your last comment about disabled ,, no idea what the hell you are on about mind you I rarely do .

I'm sorry for your thread that it turned the way it did..some people even spell their name backwards..like their minds.

I'll probably be RR'd for that ,but to turn the thread around like that really annoys me.

I know 5exy was having trouble with this site because I was on the phone to his wife and she mentioned it.

I also know of many others who are experiencing eye problems and headaches since the change either through existing medical ailments or just poor eyesight.

I have trouble because my pupils do not contract quickly and I use tinted specs because of that.

One bloody screen filter does not fit all. Each of us will be experiencing different degrees of glare as each of our processors/screens are different.

This thread has turned into a damn stupid slanging match and guess who is in the middle?

GR members who are not experiencing problems are jolly lucky and they should really keep out of any discussions unless they have something positive to contribute.

aivlyS-The reason you do not agree this site could give an epileptic a fit is you clearly dont know anthing about the condition.

Some people do understand about it but it would surely take far too long to name them...you know who you are, its all in your mind! :-D

Oh really Dizzi so you was not asking if the brightness on this site could affect epilepsy .. wel that is backtracking for sure lol

Why should I stay off a site I pay to use? GR chose to change the appearance of the site...not me.

But hey, our feedback may make a difference to be inclusive not exclusive and they may then conform to DDA in the cyber world.

With that I am off to rest my eyes (and also enjoy a rest from argumentative members who delight in stirring with a damn great wooden spoon)

The whiteness has been been turned to grey and the letters are bolder much more easier to read and the glare ( of the colour and not off memebers) that is has been reduced) :-D

Maybe now we know who the RR'er is.
