Hi Everyone
I cant thank you all enough for all your kind words prayers and hugs for us all
Dad is as comfy as can be expected at the moment he has an appointment on the 13th July so we will know then if the treatment has done anything and their next plan of action if any to be taken
He is so glad to be home with my mum as she is to have him home
He has been eating a bit more at the moment so thats good
All we can do is hope and pray that all is going well
I will keep you all updated as we go

I was just off to bed 12.35am here and saw your update. That is good Wendy that he is eating,,, give him anything to stimulate the appetite.
They gave my mum this awful stuff looked like pollyfilla, that you use for "no more gaps" so I would buy her little tubs of ice cream. She much preferred that.

Hello wendy hope your Dad is comfortable & trying to eat something . use to give my dad .soup. rice pudding. ice cream . as he enjoyed this in between . cereal breakfast. till bed time . .look after yourself .Take care .love to All Barbra xx

Just to update you
Dad has his good days and bad days he has lost a lot of weight but is still trying to eat so that is good
Mum is coping as well as can be expected we seem to have our days we cry together
Its such an awful thing to watch someone you love with this awful disease and there is only so much you can do to help them
I find it hard some days to wrap my head round this and feel its so unfair lots of mixed emotions going on
Mum is going to try and get them to bring his hospital appointment forward from the 13th July so we know more of what is going to happen the waiting doesnt help
Will keep you all updated as to how dads getting on

Hi Everyone
My dad was taken into hospital yesterday with a very bad chest infection and problems with his breathing again
He was put on antibiotic drip and they sent him for chest xray which showed he had a very bad chest infection
This morning he was getting very stressed because he couldnt breathe so they sedated him
My mum and sister went to hospital this afternoon to visit and were told they think he only has a few days left
My heart is broken and im finding it very hard to get my head around this at this moment
But myself and my family would like to thank each and everyone of you for all your prayers and good wishes for my dad and our family
All we can do now is pray he has a peaceful passing
