OK.

That's it. I am reporting this thread!!

Where's that button.

Request review of the weather forecast thread for causing distress and aggravation to all of us over here.

You should not be able to post six pages of chat about warm to hot temperatures, sunny skies, balmy breezes and sun burn.

It is not fair!!

Just you wait until we have our summer here downunder. Wait until you are freeeeeezing cold, with icicles dripping from your noses and fingers so cold they won't type properly.

When that happens I will be sitting here in 35 degree warmth and you will know about it. Just wait I've only about two and a bit months to go before it starts warming up.

Aunty puts on another jumper, turns up the heating, and dreams of summer time.

Edit. Sorry forgot the forecast. Southern Australia, not quite Antarctica. Minimum temperature for my place for the next week between 2 and 5 degrees celsius. Rain starting tonight for the next few days. Maximum for the week between 13 and 16.

It's very very hot here..........and we are being plagued by pollen beetles ...not a good day to be swanning about up town wearing yellow !

I might go and sit in my parched garden and sip Strawberry cider in awhile : ))

MrDaff

MrDaff Report 10 Jul 2010 23:25

It is now dark here, too.... I know this because my clever little icon has gone all ghostly, which means there is no weather because there is no sun... there is temperature, though (19 deg) and it is dark here in my playroom as well, which confirms what the icon is telling me. I do like to get a second opinion, don't you?

Jill 2011 (aka Warrior Princess of Cilla!) Report 11 Jul 2010 20:44

tsk tsk

East Kent coast.

Now feeling quite muggy and it's been a bit cooler and breezier today so a thunderstorm is a good possibility.

Do you want me to stand out front with brollies for the passers-by?

OK - I've been very brave and stepped out into the back garden to assess the weather.

There are grey things in the sky - are they clouds? I can't remember the last time I saw a cloud.

Normally at this time of the evening of a hot day the seagulls are wheeling about shouting at each other like louts. At the moment there are only the two of them (one of which according to OH is the one with special needs as he has some sort of seagull speech defect bless him).

It's very quiet. There is yet no wind. I expect at any moment the wind will start - the sort of wind that makes little boys all tetchy and irritable and makes dogs act peculiar.

I will report back when the dog starts acting up ... or it rains - whichever comes first.
