We had a howling gale here Friday, plants and trees sadly leafless, and neighbours covered table, I think its a gazebo, torn down and split. They came back from a few days away the next morning before anyone had been able to get at it, and had to dismantle it to get to the back door which is their usual way in and out. Been wet on and off here today and cold enough to require the heating on for a while. Put an extra blanket on the bed too, we were sleeping with just the sheet. |

No, it's an all weather one, waterproof to save it from damage when spluttering coffee or red wine after reading certain threads and in case of roofs blowing off in isolated locations. |

No one takes me seriously. I'm sitting at the computer with a sou'wester on and an umbrella over the keyboard and that's all you can say. |

Been hailstones here as big as footballs, thunder, lightning and high winds and torrential rain. All the roads are flooded and we are cut off yet again, due to floods and fallen trees across the roads. The power is off and it's altogether terrible. |
