Morning I have'nt caught up with your postings yet!!

Dry again today and I may go out with Chrissy today to Widemouth Bay to get some more nice round stones!! Her OH has gone off fishing for the day.

I bet Ann is getting all that food together now ready for the party !!

David it sounds as though Ralph's op has worked ok if he has passed something! I do hope he feels better when you see him next time. It must be an awful shock to the body to be put back where you should be after so long, if you know what I mean.

This must be the quietest day ever on here lol.Where are we all????.
Have just has some heavy rain at last and some thunder.I was pleased to see the rain but poor Chester was not happy to hear the thunder.

Hi Mel,

The op has done the trick - his vision is great now. Yesterday it looked a bit blood- shot, but it's much better today. This morning he said he was going to sand the walls of the kitchen before painting - but I soon put a stop to that. Didn't want anything to irritate his eye.

It is quiet Jane. Hasn't been here though. Our cat fell down the chimney lol.
I was sat in the study and on the computer and BANG. It really startled me. Turned my head, only to find the cat looking a bit forlorn. He's ok though and spent most of the day washing lol

Hope everything has gone well for Ann. I bet she will be whacked tomorrow after all her hard work.

I hope he didn't bring down a load of soot with him Catie !!!.What was he doing on the roof????.Good job he wasn't hurt.The trouble is they don't learn ,and he will probably be back up there.I have had birds down the chimney before but never a cat lolol.Oh and Father Christmas.

Had some rain here this morning so hubby had the day off ,it then got out lovely and sunny so we went to the coast and what did it do ? poured !!! had a little thunder too.


It has been quiet today ,thought there would be lots of posts to catch up on !
I hope everything went off ok at the Diamond Wedding party ,i expect Ann will tell us all about it later if she's not to tired .

Hi Mandy,
I will ring my sisters son tonight and get an update on poor Thomas.Poor old thing .I think he is 14 or 15 and is a gorgeous ginger.I thought sister had put the 4 dogs in Kennels ,but Matthew and her older son are looking after them.I think Thomas will just be kept upstairs in the spare room until they get back from the cruise.I'm sure they will enjoy it now knowing Thomas has been found.
I wondered if you might have gone to the airshow somewhere near you ,on a beach .I can't remember where now.How are Toby's bits and bobs ?Hope everything is healing nicely.

Catie ,how rude of me .I forgot to say Great news that OH's eye is tip top.
I know a couple of people who have had the laser treatment and they say how they wish they had been brave enough to have had it done sooner.

The Air show was at Lowestoft Jane ,we haven't been there for quite a few years now ,used to go when son was little ,has a nice sandy beach .

Toby's fine ,his scars are nice and clean and i can see that the bruising has nearly gone ,we have to take him back on Tuesday for the stitches and a check over ,you'd never think he was 10 he jumps about like a two year old at times then all of a sudden he lays down and thats it !! he's had enough lol

Any news on the house sale ?

I can see some blue sky here now and the sun is coming through .Maybe it will be a nice evening.

Touch Wood the sale is going ok.Hannah has got all those forms to fill in to say what she will be leaving in the house.I don't think the lady is interested in the lovely farmhouse kitchen table and chairs,or the 2 sofas,or washer drier,and fridge freezer.Lord knows where we will put them until they can be sold!!!!.Hannah doesn't want to move them out of the house yet just incase the sale goes pear shaped again.She will have to meet up with her ex again for him to sign some forms.

Well in the end I took him to the vets to make sure he is ok - even though he seemed to be lol. He's lost a couple of claws, but apart from that he's fine. He's usually light grey in colour, but he's now looking a lot darker lol
At the moment we have scaffold up as we have had to have a new roof. I think puss found it all a bit intriguing and got carried away. To be honest, I would have thought he was too fat to pass through - but there you go lol

Jane, as the chimney had been swept there wasn't too much debris - just a mouldy crust of bread and dust lol

Thats good news about the house then Jane , is she thinking about getting another house or is she comfortable with mum and dad !!! lol

Just seen the headlines on the main news there's a family on there with 19 children !!! what about feeding that lot !!! the shopping and the washing !!!

It was along way for puss to fall ,and if the chimney pots were off there was probably a bigger hole ,was he after a bird ??

Oh Mandy ,no she won't be buying anything else.She is going to have a massive loan because of negative equity.Her ex has paid nothing for the last 3 years!!!!!!!!!.She doesn't want to be living with us and I think is hoping once the house has gone and she has no connection to her ex she will be free to move away.She has another interview in London next week.She is27 now and DOES NOT WANT to be living with us.I don't want her here either.Not in a nasty way ,but she should be out there with her own life.

do you need anything and he said wot u got tempt me. I thought no thank you. Will wait and see what the other mans says or may just throw THE COMPUTOR OUT OF THE WINDOW.

If someone creepy said to me 'what did I have to offer' I think I would have said "A thick ear ,or a Black Eye,take your pick ' lol

Evening all
Been out most of the day shopping then up to daughter no 1 house to see her and Sofia, if I didn't go up there I would not see the little one till Sunday, daughter says she hates standing waiting for a bus and it's really hard work trying to get on and off the bus with Sofia and buggy because Sofia can't really stand by herself while her mum puts the buggy up and down , she would more likely crawl away if her mum left go of her.
So I'll need to visit them more often than them coming to see me.
I't will get easier when the little one is older enough to wait for her mum and even better when daughter doesn't need to drag the buggy everywhere with her.

JANE - I'm off to see dad tomorrow afternoon so I will hear wether he has been ok this week or not.

SHEILA- I agree That sounds a lot of money for someone to come & fix your computer, I hope it all works out for you it's really frustrating when you can't do anything like e-mails and conecting to the internet.
