Morning all.... well it is, just!! Towels are in the washer, almost ready to go on the line... and I have kicked the next load down the stairs ready to put in, then that is me, finished!!

I have been taken off one of my tablets (last week) so that leaves me taking absolutely none... however, taking me off the last one has resulted in a *woman's thingy* today, which is probably why I have slept so much... I am like that without all the chemo!! I think maybe this post belongs on the Menopause thread, lololol... but what the heck!! So for me, it is painkillers and back to bed again!!

I had my breakfast in the garden after R left for work... lovely, although a little nippy!

Lol Taff... is posting twice the *in thing* now!! The site was very temperamental yesterday, I have to say! Good luck with Laura and Julie!!

BC, you have a wonderful day, too..... I am going to slob out until R is due home, and then do dinner, that's enough for today, lol

Liz, I always point out an area and tell R if I get lost I'll meet you there, lol.... used to do it with the boys when they were little, too. R is over 6ft, so I can generally find him... but have to admit that I am the one who is guilty of wandering off and getting lost, lol

Hiya Vicky... good to see you again.... xxxxxx 2 loads a day until I have caught up, no more, I promise!! I am washing throws and clothes that have been stored away so need a refresh more than anything!!

R had a lovely first day back at sch.... errr I mean work... an exam within an hour of arriving... even though they weren't expecting him til next week!! Everyone was very nice to him apart from that... there are a number of new people there, including a new boss.... but he has worked with her before, so gets along fine. No problems with him taking time off to take me to the clinics... but it won't be long before I am able to drive myself, hopefully, so things are becoming closer to *normal* now... brilliant! And he forgot the cake, so has to get it today on his way in or he will be nagged to death, lol

Afternoon Daff!! lovely day?? just been to Morrisons and I have only NOW realised that my all time favourite biccies which are half price (McVities Choc.Digestives) were not in me bag when I got home!!!! I am grieving......................I do so love a half covered choccie biccie, as my spare tyre will attest!


Dont get doing too much today, cos it's gonna be nice again tomorrow and Thursday, a bit overcast but warm Friday and then Sat. and Sunday nice again!!! It's or summer girl - make the most of it and get some rays on your back!

The sashes are for my daughters partners 40th bithday bash on a campsite a week Saturday. She organising games and a maypole, l dread to think what else:o)))
Just cut another 10 cut out, they are 56" x 6" fold them over making them 3"wide and stitch em:o)

Just had a reply from GR and sent them another email, they did'nt know which thread l was talking about.....as if!!!

All this talk of choccie biscuits, choccie etc... and me a savoury nutter all my life until chemo changed my taste buds... have gone off tea though, so choccie bickies are out cos they just HAVE to be dunked..... but I do have a Turkish Delight and some Snickers bars downstairs........ not used to getting things for myself anymore... got far too used to saying, all full of pathos... *I really fancy some chocolate* and having it delivered, post haste, along with a glass of milk..... which I find goes well with pure choccie... oh, and ginger nuts. Now I do love ginger nuts dunked in milk!! Wonder if we've got any of those downstairs?

Must go and forage!!

Daff - its okay I meant the one Taff got. I have gone through your thread now *phew* lol. So am up to *speed*.

If there was any that breached t&c then they should be deleting the thread I have posted on of Pam's about the change. If that is not inappropriate then I dont know what is. Buts is a good thread and very informative. Us Ladieeeeeeeeeeees like to know about these things and its comforting to know that others are having the same symptoms.

Anyway - mmmm Turkish Delight - my favourite since a child. Enjoy! I like dunking biscuits in milk too, but have not done it for a while, I might just have to join you pmsl.

A few days ago I sent a message to the support team asking what had happened to Taffs support thread for Daff. I said 'you have disappointed, not to say angered, a lot of members by zapping it.'
On Monday Alex Brett says I have not provided details of the posting I am referring to.
I have now replied that I am surprised he does not know which thread I mean as so many members have been emailing about it. I asked in what way it breached t & c. It offered lots of loving support to a member who was going through a very tough time with treatment for leukaemia. It gave her a great amount of help knowing that we were all in there cheering her on. I commented that there have been other similar threads which have not been zapped so we are curious as to why this one was. I added that they will be losing a lot of members if this happens too often without good cause.
That is a slightly abridged version of the correspondence I have sent/received. I now await their next 'dont know what you are talking about' or 'it breached t&c'.
If we dont get a real reply soon we should all stop posting for a couple of days in protest.

Hi Jude, no, didn't find the hot water bottle, *sobs* and didn't get a nap either.... son one phoned, then son two, then mum, then R came home, we cooked dinner together, watched a bit of tv and now I am ready for bed proper, lol!! Glad you got to Hereford ok eventually!

I have been trying to word another e-mail... but I am finding it difficult to word without sounding either a bit sorry for myself or in high dudgeon... and I am neither now!! Sad yes, but all we really want to know is.. was it accidental, or was it because of a complaint?
