Hi Daff, Taff and all,
It seems all the nice threads get zapped, Carol's lovely Garden of Memories and my first Remember Me thread went with no explanation at all, and other nice threads since including your two Daff, and yes there have been threads that have been a million years long or so it seemed so no similarity there!
The problem is that gr will faff around the problem as always and give no proper explanation, hoping that in the end we will all get fed up and carry on as always. I don't think Joan ever got a satisfactory reply to the correspondence she had with gr over the irregularities with the membership fee variations. I certainly have never received a reply that I could think was ok , when I queried the costs.

Anyway, hope you are continuing to feel well, Daff and that you can do a bit of driving and all the stuff you have so badly missed, like maybe h*******k and things lol

Will hope this thread stays the course till you can do without it,

I have had a thought. (I have them occasionally). Perhaps we can re-do the thread from those who printed off the pages, but do only about 100 pages on each. Give each the title 'redoing Daffs zapped thread, pt 1' or something like that. See what happens to it. It would certainly show GR that we like to see it here.

Not sure how you would do them. Presumably scan and then cut & paste or some such thing.

Oh Daff, I have been scrolling down, so pleased you are feeling a little better. Tis such a beautiful day here, the sun rising high in the sky, spreading and covering everything in its path, sunbeams dancing on my walls like a fairy doing ballet. xxx

The world outside is so quiet, just the sound of a few early birds twittering in the distance, Cherry and Apple blossom flowering and in full bloom in my garden, so pretty.

Just getting ready for my early morning walk, so lucky ... I have gorges near me turned into a nature reserve. Took Cass who is now just over one year old there the other day, oh it was lovely, truly it was. Such a hot Summer type day, Canada Geese zooming high into the sky, circling and squaking loudly to whizz down, skim the water of the lake and then zoom back high into the sky, repeating over and over again. There are lots of lakes there, with ducks swans and more, picnic tables, nature at its best.

Am so wishing you all such a good day and ... will be meeting so many of you very soon in Wales. o)))

morning the it is freezing here the boiler is not working again so the engineer is coming out today .cat and dog have had fun over night the cushions are off the sofa phone out of the socket lol they are bth old .too also broken into sons room to sleep with muddy paws lol on the bed

Bit overcast here and not too warm (Yet!!) I think we are supposed to have some sun later on but the chilly north breeze will not go away!.


Saga of the toilet continues! Engineer came at 6.15 straightend a pipe a bit and went at 6.30 pm Boy was I glad to see him, cos I had been sat with legs crossed since lunch time!

Went to the loo this morning (I shall spare you the full gory details) and guess what? blooming thing leaking again. Phoned Dynarod (we are now on first name terms) and awaiting a call from another Engineer!

Anyone know where I can get a catheter fitted at short notice?

Huia, I think that is a pretty good idea, lol.... I know Susan with the numbers will be saying *I told you so* soon... she has been nagging me to use the thread in a sort of diary blog thingy..... so kept on at me to save save save, lol That is a similar idea.

BC... I do so love those *surprise* plantings... although my very first foray into gardening I discovered that I was nurturing and spoiling a dirty great huge weed... and one that seeds not even any pretty flowers for my effort, lol How is your pooch now? I do hope she is fully recovered.

Morning Jac... I have a spare loo, but it's helluva way to come when the urge is upon you, lol. In one of my other houses, I think the neighbours thought me and the Dynarod man had a thing going on, he was parked outside my house so much and those vans are hardly discreet, are they? lol... turned out someone down the road was flushing her new twins' nappies down the loo.... and guess where they all ended up?? Thank goodness it wasn't octuplets!!!

~~~~~~ to Mau.... I am feeling really good... still get tired easily, but I can do more and more before getting tired... and if I do too much, I know it the next day and sleep for Britain! Gently gently.... I bought a whole load of plants a couple of days ago... I can manage to dig in a couple a day without huffing and puffing as though I'd run a marathon, lol... but sit down for an hour and I can do something else...

Liz.. I am actually looking forward to doing some right proper spring cleaning swearword, lol... R is brilliant, and he has been my rock... but is blind to cobwebs and dirty windows... and doesn't move furniture to clean behind unless I glare meaningfully at him, lolol Another few weeks and I'll be able to manage if I take it slowly!!

Yes thank you the combined efforts of yourself and Taff have given us a beautiful morning.

I think its the Welsh mountains that have got something to do with it, I have been brought to to beleive, they also shelter us from bad weather like snow. (But I like snow). lol
