I wish it would stop raining the garden is wet enough now.

Yep raining here too. Have to go to a bank today and pay off some bills, ugh !!! Still we do have the pleasure of a car, green grass and tax as I was earning enough last year. Oh a couple of birthday cards to post too, brother in law and niece.

Thanks for the website Sue the horses look lovely. The few that were there yesterday were great too. Such gentle giants................. wouldn't want one to tread on me though.

Must do some ironing today too. Then I won't have to worry for a while.

Its a nice sunny one here.... we had rain all day yesterday. like a winters day.

Got a few branches to do on my tree,someone has got a different name for a wife and I have crossed checked it and mine is correct I have told her that you just cant assume and pick whatever one you fancy ..!

She said hers just fits nicely ...LOL

I said you cant change with whats recorded in the marriage Index.

So I'm going to think about going to the local record office and find the
marriage in parish books. just to prove a point .

Some peeps just put down whatever ,mind you I did notice she is new to the game as she only has 80 on her tree !!

Marilyn I told 5 people they had the wrong husband for our GGgrandmother but none of them changed it. They thought I must have got it wrong because I was the only one with a different name. I told them I had it right because I have the marriage cert and parish record to prove it, none of them have any records or certs.

They all just copied off someone who picked the wrong one. The person they copied off had gone back another 2 generations - but it was the wrong family. None of them want to wipe those 2 generations off their trees so they've just ignored the fact that I have the marriage cert.

pauline im whating on a cert im not to share if some one also have the wrong line but thay are not letting on much and there is a spelling error more than one on the census so hopefull whan i get the birth cert i need i can then get the marriege cert and see whats going on

i do some times put people on my tree thant im not 100% cos it make it a bit easer to reserch them but if then im wrong i delet them but i only do one side at the time like now if the certs say i have the wrong lot them that get kick of the tree lol

Good Morning or Afternoon Girls.
I went to the doctors for my warfarin blood count this morning rushed around as I did the washing before and got there out of breath only to be told it is tomorrow not today . I then had a letter about my eye test I had at the hospital send to me by my doctor f rom my consultant at the hospital and that didnt cheer me up either.

yesterday afternoon I had all the window open and was reading when I heard a terrible grating noise and then everything rattled a plane flew over the house and it was so low I have never seen one as low as that since i moved here. 7 years ago. it was quiet frightening I put my hands over my ear waiting for an explosion which thank goodness didnt come.but it is the talk of the aera at the moment so I have no idea where it came f rom or where it was heading. but I dont want to have happen too often.

My sister said she has been waiting for one of the certificates she s ent for it two weeks ago and they have a three day strike where she lives so she will have to wait another three days at least

I do that as well Shelly, I put them on, but if I find out I'm wrong, I delete them - no matter how much work I've put into it. Not much point having the wrong family.

bit of luck today i got the birth cert so look like i may have a bit of bother with names certs says coy and most census say kuy and other diffrent spelling

o well need to find a marrige but may have to what till later
but on a good note i think i do have the right family

I have been up since 4.30 since then I have watched the change of the sky from bright and light to doom and gloom It looks like rain coming one minute and the nexrt bright.

Did anyone watch Lord Byron programme last night what a load of rubbish I think that narrator guy was as mad as they made Byron out to be.

Bright here so far. Should be going to The New Forest Show today, looks the best day weather wise.
Managed a huge pile of ironing yesterday, more to do before we go out.

Had a wander round the Wokingham Church graveyard yesterday, but couldn't find any with my Rance name, unfortunately. I did find the WWI memorial with one name on that inside the church. I had already found him on the CWGC site. He is buried in France. There were a lot of War headstones in our graveyard too which was odd.
