Hi Sue and others who join in later
Thanks for the cuppa Sue.

Yes it's sunny here too just down the road from you.
Might get out in the garden later, but need to go to the butchers first, replacing some of the meat lost and getting some for BBQ next week............. if the weather holds.
Out for lunch today with friends, all adults no children now til next Tuesday.
Have father in law coming tomorrow evening. Will it be dry for Sunday at Sandhurst? I sure hope so, not good if it rains.
Monday off to see husbands Uncle who is 89, not able to come with us to sandhurst, so hoping to go out for lunch again............ me and threeold gentlemen !!!!(that includes my husband !!! ) Should be fun eh?

Well have a great day everyone, enjoy anything you get up to. Don't spend too much money restocking your cupboards Marilyn.

Hi Sue
Yes we enjoy it. It is less there now than when we first started going maybe 15 years ago. When William was there and the Sun newspaper tried to get in, they stopped the open day that year and it's taken many years to build up again.
But it is a chance to see the college for local(Mainly) people.

I love the India room and that is why I want to take my father in law, as he was born in India and lived there til he joined the army in 1939 and came to England in 1945 on demob and married his wife. He never went back and never saw his own mother again as she died in 1947, before my husband was born. His own father came back to England in about 1950, he was born in Gateshead.

Last year we only went in the morning as my husband was working in the afternoon. But we looked round the various rooms and chaples too, had a glass of champagne and a curry cooked by the Gurkhas........................ brilliant and one of the reasons we go !!!

There are some stalls selling things and various charity tombolas and other bits too.

Shame you are busy or we couls have had a mini meet.................. you and I.

If you rode there you know how lovely it is and so peaceful except for when they practice in the firing ranges, we can hear that here.

Maybe next year eh?

I love curries that the Gurkhas make and I was taught to make sevral a few years ago. One that the boys make themselves and also a few that the Gurkha ladies make, the Nepalese are such wonderful people and if you ever get the chance to go to Nepal you should grab it quickly. I have been and it was wonderful.

Hi just popping in before I try to do some research, as father in law is coming tomorrow.
Had a lovely lunch out with husband and friends, near Basingstoke at Dummer.
Did some gardening when I got back, not nearly enough, but then youngest daughter arrived for tea and chat, so didn't get any more done.
Just cleaned upstairs and made up fresh bed for the old fella. Looks neat and tidy now. Two days ago it was the spare room from hell with three beds piled on top of each other and all my spare childminding crafts and toys on top of that !!!! Glad he didn't see that. My husband says I'm a hoarder, I admit he's right. But if I take Marilyn's advice and decide to retire I've a hellof a lot to declutter. And I do so hate waste.

Have a good evening..................... what's left of it.
