Morning all
Damp here this morning. So just done some ironing. At least I won't need to water the grass today !!!, it was looking very parched................ reminded me of Cyprus.
Managed more cross-stitch yesterday and a sleeve of a kiddies jumper hope to finish that one today.

My husband is at work today and tomorrow, so should be able to do what I want this evening

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Hi Marilyn and Pauline
Just checked Devon on the weather forecast and it did say rain, sorry you got it so early and it wil spoil any outside plans, Marilyn.
Too wet here to do outside, so getting on with knitting again.
I can knit a childs basic jumper in about 3 evenings. But the cross stitch is needing doing, and an invitation can take an evening to do. I have about 40 to make altogether. Then the place name settings, I can possibly make one in an hour, but about 80 of those to make !!! Luckily the wedding isn't til June next year................ actually exactly a year today !!! Gosh will I be panicing then !!
Have our son's cocker spaniel here this morning, son is on holiday, so our daughter is looking after the dog, but she has training with her own dog for an hour so asked if we'd mind having him. Wish it was dry would have gone for a walk, but too wet right now.

Might go and make a cup of tea for when they get back.

Catch up later

Hi Sue
I'm here. I have put the heating back on after my husband went to work, it's sooo cold here. Thought summer was here but it's been and gone !!!

Finished the jumper for Bulgaria. Might make a hat next. Will have quite a pile of things to go out in September at this rate. Hope they give a little comfort to the kiddies with a heck of a lot less than we have here.

Made contact yesterday with a guy in Australia who appears to have the same decendants as myself. He sent me a tree so I should check this out. It's my father's family and I've found it hard to get info on them.

Be back later, if I don't get lost in searches.

Hi Sue
Have you ever been to Australia? I have a penfriend in Attadale a suburb of Perth, but actually nearer to Freemantle. We have been writing for over 40 years now. Started as her Mum and my great aunt were friends back in Hayes, Middlesex when they worked together, before my friends parents emigrated after the war(about 1950).

Hope your rellies leave you the vinyard what a wonderful connection.

Be back later.
