Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 16 Nov 2008 20:50

I saw a thread earlier about a Philip Holden. Half an hour ago.

Two post in to it and someone mentioned the words sex and offender.

The post disappeared but there wasn't the usual blank when someone or admin deletes. Why?

Now the thread has disappeared.

Strange or what?

Working Tax Credit is for people who are employed or self-employed (either on their own or in a partnership), who
usually work 16 hours or more a week
are paid for that work, and
expect to work for at least 4 weeks

and who are

aged 16 or over and responsible for at least one child, or

I saw your brave reply before it was deleted Starsky, and you know I said no such thing.....

Your style is incredibly similar to a member who has just deleted their account........

Rambling Report 16 Nov 2008 21:11

Starsky that isn't exactly what was said I don't think? you warned about IP addys showing if one posted a message on a specific site.

The way I took it was that unless one was a reader of certain blogspots one would not be likely to recognise the name anyway let alone post on that site?

its your internet address hayley, unique to you.

just to add, if your a perv.... they can trace it and send round the police ;) xx

quote " An IP address (Internet Protocol Address) is a logical address of a network adapter. The IP address is unique and identifies computers on a network. An IP address can be private, for use on a LAN, or public, for use on the Internet or other WAN."

now you all know as much (little! ) as me lol...where is my 13 year old for a simple explanation when I need one lol :))

I have just asked my 15 yr old and got the rolled eyes up to the ceiling...now another stupid question where do you look for your IP address...

KempinaPartyhat

KempinaPartyhat Report 16 Nov 2008 21:30

Each day with an IP addy the last 6 numbers change and therefore the only people whom can get a TOTAL fix on your house are people like hackers and police teams that get special permission to do so ...even then its hard work coz people log in and out dueing the day .....
