Ok, serious thread.

Are performing mediums the real deal or are they people who profit by preying on the bereaved?

I personally can see absolutely no evidence at all that they are genuine, but maybe someone can tell me differently. I have an open mind on the matter.

i have been to many one on one mediums some iv been very impressed by others i thought were complete rouges

what impressed you, if you don't mind me asking.

Like in all walks of life there are good ones and bad ones.

I don't think anyone will be able to convince you because to me it's a personal experience.

I go and see the same one...been 4 or 5 times now and she is very good

well one gave me a message from a person who had passed and things only he would no

he also told me things that would happen and they did not years later but within weeks things that a person couldnt have guessed

he names someone special in my life and told me all about them again somthing only someone who new would no

he also told my friend she was 4 weeks pregnant and she was but didnt no haha

I've never been to a one, but there are so many questions that I would want to ask before hand that I think it would just put them right off.

so what happens when you go to see one? What is the process, if I can put it that way

i also think you shouldnt go searching for answers because you could be let down
i go for fun and do enjoy it

The thing is that once you start you say nothing ...absolutely nothing that way you know for sure they are not picking a story from your answers

all the oens iv been to have used tarot cards and ruins you go in sit down they ask you to shuffle the cards then they put them out or ask you to

then they start talkign you listen and only answer yes or no i nveer go into details or ask questions i let them do there things and onlly answer with yes or no

tarot cards? I always thought that was a separate thing.

I sort of imagined them going into a trance and passing messages over fgrom the other side

mine doesn't use cards...just talks....and like stray says you never tell them anything...but you do have to go in with an open mind x

iv never been to a medium who has done that lol
they use the cards to tell you whats goign on and then whist they reading the spirits come thro but its never been anything like in the films were the passed person possesses the medium lol they say oh i got so n so here and he/she said

the first time we went to our spiritualist church they
dindn`t know me from adam but the speeker of the night new more than I coud have told anyone about my father and my thoughts and a certain thing I used to do when talking to my past on father.

they also told me I had three gardians around me all the time I know these and whom they are .
we all have the gateway with in us but many are closed by our minds which are in denial to such things.

so do they say who it is or is it dead vague?

Like do they tell you 'I have your grandad Joe here?'
and then pass a message over?

mine is very precise with names...usually surnames....and sometimes they do give you a "message" but not always x

no twinks your right im sorry when i used to go to the open circle t the local centre they just stood in the middle of the room and spoke but that was a group one

one to one mine have always used somehting be it ruins tarot or crystals sometimes all 3 lol
