I already told you they don't have time like we do.

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 20:51

so what sort of time do they have?

Obviously all the natural laws of physics etc dont apply

Like you I would love to believe unconditionally, but despite experiences I remain a sceptic.

I have been told that children do grow in the spirit world, but they can show themselves to you at an age where you would recognise them (as a mum who lost a baby, and lived for that cuddle I thought I would share with my baby when I too passed, I was a tad taken aback at the thought of a six foot young man jumping into my arms).

I have in fact seen one of my lost children as a young man - an amazing experience and something to this day I am unable to fully comprehend.

I also went to a workshop run by Gordon Smith who gave a demo of mediumship for the last hour. I was lucky enough to be given a message and was blown away by what I was told. No way could Gordon have known the things he told me.

I continue to believe with a sceptic mind, because the hope that life continues is what keeps many of us going through the hard times.

BUT TRUTH SHE DIED OLD

Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:01

hmmm.

So over the past 30 million years, there must have beenm countless billions of people dying, and the earths population is growing unchecked......

so reincarnation cant be the answer.....where are all the spirits living? It must be getting a bit crowded, surely?

When my Mum passed away ,her cousin who lives two hundred miles away ( and didn't know Mum was reaching the end ) was awoken at the moment Mum died by the sound of her " child" voice calling her ( like she had been used to do when they were young and played together ).
Mums Cousin dosen't " go in for that sort of thing " but none the less she heard that voice loud and clear..........I like to think that my dear old Mum is a child again ( the happiest time of her life ) romping about in the next World.

Sorry I cannot really explain this well.

Certain faiths believe that you learn from past lives and you try to attain a better position in the next than the last.

They believe that animals whilst they are becoming extinct and dropping in numbers attain a higher level in the next life and therefore are part of the increase in human population

hhhhmmmm

who said reincarnation dosen`t exist did you
do you know for sure have you ever had past
life regresion ever had dajavous

what alot of people dont realise is that there are no hauntings as
such but just inprints/memories just playing out over and over agian
have you seen a ghost really or felt the presance
do you get chills down your spine do the hairs stand up on the back of your neck

OK SRS, I'm familiar with that concept - is it a buddhist thing...I think its a far east religion and I must admit to finding it a more convincing concept than most western explanations that I've heard.

I admit to inclining in that direction rather than a spirit world that seems rather chaotic to say the least.

SM - never seen a ghost. Whilst I am merely sceptical about spiritualism, I am absolutely sure that there are no such things as ghosts, lol. Put me in the most haunted house in the world and turn out the lights and I wouldnt care a hoot.

I have never had a deja vu nor experienced any paranormal activity at all.

No-one can answer all the questions that need answering unless they're God! Has anyone read about the very recent psychic who told a woman in his audience that her gran had come through, and said she knew she was abused? No-one else knew but the woman has gone to the police and the man admitting his guilt.

~~~Secret Red ^^ Squirrel~~~ **007 1/2** Report 3 May 2008 21:21
I have deja vu quite a lot (well occasionally lol) but don't put it down to anything spiritual. Just that it reminds me of something that I've forgotten.
However, the strongest feeling is when I stroked a dolphin for the first time, I had felt I HAD done that before but I know I hadn't.
Eldrick
Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:22
Well, that brings us to a very fundamental question.
Which god?
The hindu god? The muslim god? The buddhist god The christian god?
Why does it have to be a god who is the only one that knows?
Why cant the spirits communicate that to us....?
Eldrick
Eldrick Report 3 May 2008 21:25
It is matterless which god I believe in - who am I to say my god is more real or important than someone elses...?
