there is an Elizabeth Monks who married a Thomas Arthur Boswell in 1902 at St Matthias church Toxteth Park, father John a horse dealer |

thomas arthur boswell seens to have been brought up by his grandparents if thomas' mother was in america this would explain things |

I think George Boswell died in 1886 in Hampshire (age 25), it's possible but I can't be sure as it doesn't give his middle name - the only real clue is the shipyards - he was a boilermaker and likely worked in the shipyards - Thomas Arthur was born Barrow in Furness, again a shipyard town. |
