Find Ancestors

Could any one help with this subject it is too complicated for me and have been searching for a long time abt 5month and come up with nothing so if anyone has the time o the patience to have a look at this complicated one please feel free these are the bits of information i have :

Eva Hocking 1907-1980 bacup lancashire ggran
Joseph Hocking 1880( there are 2 in the bacup area at the same age) married Mary Alice Adlam 1885 in rawtenstall in 1905

Joseph parents are a mystery i thought she was called harriet but im not sure the story i was told off my uncle was that Joseph was born a twin the other a girl but she died as a a young girl possibly 2/3 dont know the age for sure.
Josephs mother was called hocking and worked for a well to do family in redruth cornwall but one of the family whom she worked for got her in the family way and she was dismissed and she came to live in lancashire. i dont know if she is from cornwall or lancashire she went to live with josephs wife to be family ( when joe finally grew up) when the twins was born as far as ive been told they grew up and joe married the daughter of the family they were living with.

I cannot find a Joseph Hocking born in 1880 on frrebmd.

Nor do I seem to be able to find two Hocking babies registered at the same time in the same place, which is what you would expect if there was a twin.
