JAN ******* After looking at the 1841's again 1st Family.... I THINK maybe Sarah is John's second wife as the youngest child Mary is aged 9 Months and the child above her is 21 yrs old that is a big age gap between 2 children.... all other info you have is the same as on image... Samuel 1770 (2nd Family) is the Head BUT I THINK they might be the Grandparents as they are both in the 70's and the children are all in their 20's... Ann (Wife) was not born in same county...Son Thomas OCC: Cotton Stacking. All other info you have is right. Im going to read the rest of your thread and see if I undrstand it lol Lesley :~) |

Thank you very much Lesley. It is all very confusing and I agree I need some concrete evidence, but it is useful to have a few pointers and all you have found out helps to that end. I'll try to leave you in peace for a bit. You have been a great help THanks Jan |

Hi Lesley Please could you lookup the following on 1851 census Thomas Taylor b abt 1821 Giggleswick yrks (husband) Susannah Taylor ( nee Harrison) b 1831 Long preston Yorks (wife). The above is off 1861 census. I think they where living in long Preston with Susannah's parents. Also if possible could you see if you can find Thomas on 1841 census ( i think his father was called joseph). Many thanks Tracy |

JAN ******* LDS site is the Mormon Site Sometimes known as Familysearch remove the brackets from this address. www(.)familysearch(.)org Its a good site for early info all though not 100% reliable you need to be weary of info off it but can help point you in right direction...if you find any info off there keep it for reference but dont take it as gospel.... If you do any searches on it its best to just put in the main person eg Mary Guyler but dont put Parents info or spouse info in....put England....and it will throw up all Mary Guylers in England......scroll through til you see birth place match or birth yr match and then click on that record and see what info it says.....
