The family were living in York Square in the 1841 census already posted. They were apparently there at least from 1838, as Harriet Ann gives her address as 9 York Square on the register image:

Thanks for latest info, sounds very promising, will follow through. Dates for Harriet Anne and Alfred seem to correspond between dates William was at sea.. Still no closer to finding out where Adolphus was before 1948. Thanks once again for all your help. Pat

Looking for William Campbell's ( known as the Red Man due to his bright red hair) place of birth and his parents. Know William was a member(share holder) of the New Zealand Company and helped with the colonisation of New Zealand in the 1830s.
