Not sure if we found this one already? I can't find him in 1881 so just wondering if this is yet another variant of name?? |

Military records for my grandfather Charles, the son of the missing John and Sarah, show his mother and father dead in 1902 and a sister as next of kin. In the earliest military record I have (at the moment I haven't looked through them all) his 1889 attestation shows brother Robert as next of kin. |

Islington is up City Road from Bethnal Green and next to Hackney geographically. The name is a stretch but then most of the variations we have had have been dodgy and one or two quite outrageous. |

Just having a look for any Mackelworths on the 1841, and notice a lot of faded pages for Bethnal Green which are too faint to read. |
