What are the full details on the marriage certificate of Samuel Watson and Margaret Ross please? What age was Margaret Ross and who did she name as her parents when she married Samuel? |

I have just reviewed the Census from 1891, and this poses more issues as I can locate parents (Samuel / Margaret) and 2 further children (Jemima and William) but not the one I would expect to locate. |

If the mother wasnt married when she had Margaret, she could have been sent away from the area to have the child? |

If your Margaret's mother wasn't married when she was born her birth would be registered (and indexed) with the surname Ross. Even if the father was named and present at the registration her birth would be indexed under his name and also under Ross. |
