Sgt John mcmahon married maryann smith 11th april 1856 at liverpool.He was in the 83rd regiment and fathers name was daniel.spouses name mary ann smith daughter of james. |

Have had a quick look on FMP and on the 1861 Worldwide Army Index alone there are shedloads of John McMahons....... |

think there was possibly a daniel. I found a daniel on the 1881 census as a young soldier in the salfords born liverpool and as johns father was a daniel I wondered if he could be a son of john and maryann |

have just found an Anastasia died liverpool 1897 aged 62 therefore born about 1835. I'll see if I can see her on the censuses between 1858 and 1891 |
