Drop Scones are like Welsh cakes Ja...x,not quite the same but similar.
Made on a griddle.
In fact a supermarket got it in the neck for selling them as Welsh cakes I think it was when they were drop scones..

Flapjacks are made with Oats and cooked in the oven..

Seem to remember the drop scones or welsh cakes or a smaller version of the American pancake were also called flapjacks in the supermarket.

Oh I see the post that was asking for the canadian birth has gone too.....

I turned Reading down to do Creamfields (Sat & Sun)..

I had the holiday planned and wasn't going to change that, Reading would have meant leaving Wednesday afternoon.

It would have been too much on the back of V last weekend.

But i do have a hectic couple of weeks anyhow lol....

Hi everyone


Mum used to serve honey with her flapjacks ............... they were usually pretty dry!


Kids can make a lovely sticky mess while eating it :)))))
