Loft floor laid,carpet down,mattress installed.
So they wont have to sleep with the dogs after all.

Mother coming with son d.i.l and 3 mini monsters, father doesnt want to travel.

Hmmm,he is only 82 and drives his lorry doing hay and straw deliveries in the local area but does not want to be driven here.

Probably wants a rest from mother more like..

Must sort out a sand pit now as last time they were here my building sand,or "construction"sand as Master Grandson calls it,was spread quite far and wide.

And find something to use as a very mini monster(18 months)stair falling down for the prevention of.

Wonder what mother will decide I dont do enough of, or spend too much time doing this time?

Mothers and sons, who would have em....sighs..

Good luck Fans...Im sure you will cope just nicely

What you cookin for lunch/dinner?

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 8 Aug 2010 13:58

When we were children and asked mother what was for dinner often the reply was..

S**t with sugar on.

So I think I will cook her that and us something else..:)

Although I often used to tell my stepson that when he asked me what was for dinner and he always said..Yum,I like your S**t with sugar on dinners, they are the nicest..

I am now going to lose it with HID watching reruns of Top Gear instead of helping me with the fence...

OOOhh Jax + FBG - my mother would never have said such a thing !!!

Gins - That sounds very 'realistic' - How did you come up with the idea??? (I almost don't want to know the answer) !!

Did your mom say the same ??

This thread seems to be 'slowing down' - what can we do to revive it ???

I would also NEVER call he Mommy or Mom.

It has to be Mum ,Mummy or Mother.

We are not American you know!

I once sent a christmas card addressed to Mom and Pop as it was of a Wild West type Scene.

Ooooooooooo Dear,

Christmas cards have to be of certain pictures.
Religious scenes only unless they are charity cards (which I now buy from the "Air Ambulance Wales"(they have helicopters on .(:)and NEVER address her as Mom again..EVER

Gee

Gee Report 8 Aug 2010 16:32

Nope my mom would never have said things like that; she was a bit of a lady...conniving and manipulative but a lady none the less!!

You asked;

Mars bar, pool somewhere in Spain, mate swimming and then shouting Im sorry I couldnt hold it!

Mars bar floating around empty pool ;)

The crude sayings of Mothers are handed down from her mother who was born in Silvertown c1909 in the east end and could come out with some real corkers.

Gins..
Did he start eating it ?

Dea

Dea Report 8 Aug 2010 17:22

FBG - I think if you put the 'corkers' on here, you might get us 'whoooshed !!
