and now I can't remember it!

except the last line was something like

"and do the things that are right"

one of those moralistic sayings that kiddies used to be subject to!

Ewwee...from Wiki

Bedbugs (or bed bugs) are small, elusive, parasitic insects of the family Cimicidae. In common use, the term usually refers to one species, Cimex lectularius, that feeds preferentially on human blood; all insects in this family live by feeding exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals.[1][2] The name 'bed bug' is derived from the insect's preferred habitat of infesting houses and especially beds or other common areas where people may sleep. Bedbugs, though not strictly nocturnal, are mainly active at night and are capable of feeding unnoticed on their hosts.

Bedbugs have been known by a variety of names including wall louse, mahogany flat, crimson rambler, heavy dragoon, chinche and redcoat.[3]

Largely eradicated as pests in the developed world in the early 1940s, bedbugs have been resurgent since about 1995.[4]

I use to love Estee Lauder - cannot remember now which one - always wore Riva Gauche to office - cause I thought it was business like ( no idea why now ) Estee Lauder for evenings cause it was " Flirty "

Goodness knows now where all these ideas came from

Bed bugs are most definitely RESURGENT

They're becoming a huge problem, all over the world

mainly due to the rapid travel between countries and continents.

You can pick them up on buses, cafes, park benches .... anywhere that someone who has been unfortunate enough to be carrying one on their body has rested.

The US is actually looking at whether communities (cities, towns, municipalities, or even states) should get involved in eradication methods, rather than just leaving it to the individual.

Most troubling ............ you're as likely to get them in a 5 star hotel as in a "flop house".

and if you get them into your house, it can months, many thousands of pounds, and replacemeent of much if not all of your furniture and clothing, to get rid of them.

What about this then....Fanny?

Patchouli Oil

Bezzie still wears it.
I was never into "smellys"much and have a bottle of "poison"bought for me by Bezzie 16 years ago that is still only half used.

I did like "opium" though, not that I had any I had to use Bezzies if I felt like using some smellys.

jax Report 4 Aug 2010 23:41

Oh yeah opium another strong smelling one I used to wear...stick to the mens stuff now only by accident had a small box of christian Doir perfumes and my favorite was farenheit then when I went to by a larger bottle was shocked to find it was for men.
Not that I wear it much now anyway but the last bottle bought for me was CK one again for men I believe
