Also asked about WTW i think i have to say that WTW was married to Betty had a Amelia, then a fling with Sarah, Sarah had Eda, sarah and Eda then went and lived with John Donley and thats that.

I bet the Whittaker family don't know about it!!

Can you all remember early on in the thread i said my mum had said sarah was married before and thought to be american or like!

Just a thought, the 1871 census has WTW living with wife betty and daughter amelia, also lodgers William Tetlow , brother of Betty and one of the others is a nephew who was born in the United States!!!

WTW is only showing on one census in 1871, no other years census has him and i can't find a birth or death!,?? is it possible he was from USA or like and came over for only a little while, how would we find this out.

Any help would be great.

I think Betty was UK born,no?? (from the census.) I'm pretty sure her name has been mistranscibed.
Yes,I'm in New York State. It's the day before American Thanksgiving here and I'm dashing between the kitchen and the computer,so my brain may be more scattered than normal.
I'll see if I can find some passenger lists for them.
