Hi Michelle, I really would like to see James WAY or James Winter WAY on the 1841 census. James was born in Dorset in either Bere Regis, Tolpuddle or Turnerspuddle. Hi and i have done this lookup for you before and found you the 1851 you have.I'm sorry but he is just not showing on the 1841 and i can't see him.Never the easiest census to work off the 1841 as there is no district of birth only county.The only 1 showing is the 1 i showed you last time.

Not an easy one as there are a few showing Christopher.So lets start with his son...are you certain of birthyear?do you know where he was born?Did he have any other middle names other than John?Do you know when he married?

This is interesting.Its a christening record for Annie aged 17 on the 1911.Looks like mother is the Mary Ann on the 1911 unless his previous wife was Mary Ann too!!Although i would say the marriage was not 9 years and was prob 19 years before cos it would work out with the age of the kids that they married 19 years before.

Have now got Denis Reid's birth certificate, and, hurrah, parents are John and Mary. they live at 25 Ossulston Street, St Pancras (over the road from where I work and next door to where the British Library now is. John is now a house painter's labourer which seems like a bit of a comedown from musician. Have searched for the address on 1911 census and it isnt there although there are numbers 27 and 29. Hmm. Any suggestions most welcome.
